Not in the least. It's made with all-natural ingredients. It is immediately licked by my dog. Make sure you rub it in thoroughly, and you might want to get him some socks to wear overnight until it takes effect.
However, the dryness brought on by the salt and the cold weather must be addressed!
I'd say yes if the cat goes straight to the litter box, but if it's worked in gently and between the paws, I'd say no. br>In the winter, we use it on our dog for ice, snow, and road hikes, as well as whenever dry cracking appears.

Dear god. This is for my cat's beans, so I bought it. His shoes appeared to be a little drier than usual. For cats, it's a terrible idea. He despised it, and I thought to myself, "omg, what if he uses the litter box?" As a result, I've been using it as a foot moisturizer. It's amazing what it can do for a person's feet. It's thick, but it's fantastic at filling in cracks. I applied it all over my feet and wrapped them in cling wrap for an hour, and it was incredible. (I learned this from a nail technician) This is beneficial to dogs, but it is most beneficial to humans.
She began scratching and licking her paw almost immediately. She then proceeded to vomit in an uncontrollable manner. Stop for an hour, then go to the bathroom. Her face was swollen to the point where she couldn't even open her eyes that evening. She needed a steroid and Benadryl injection, and she will be on steroids for the next three days. There are a lot of positive reviews on here, so I'm not saying it's a bad product; however, you should be aware that your dog may have an allergic reaction to it.
My dog is very short-haired and joins me on my daily runs. I found his feet to be extremely scaly and irritated when I walked in on him chewing on his foot pads. I ordered it two days ago, and his pads were noticeably softer after just one application! My vet advised me to keep using this on his feet because it was so beneficial! I'll definitely reorder this for our dog's needs only!.
We purchased this paw balm because our sweet Bengal cat enjoys daily walks outside (on a leash), and we noticed that the cold asphalt and sidewalk were causing cracks in her paw pads during the winter. I chose this product because the ingredients appeared to be the most natural and effective of those I could find on Amazon, and it has proven to be very effective. She hopped and shook her paws for a second the first time we put it on her, but she's sat happily ever since, letting us massage it into all four of her paws and hasn't acted strangely since. The cracks have completely vanished (including a couple of deep ones), and she neither tries to lick it off nor avoids grooming her feet. Her paws appear to be well hydrated, and we plan to use it throughout the winter to prevent cracks.
It's great that it's USDA approved. I bought this for my cat's paws because she had a problem with growths on them. The product went on smoothly, and I was confident that if the cat licked her paws after application, she would be fine. Unfortunately, the application procedure remains a problem at this time. Ms Abbigail Van Purren might benefit from a catnip flavor to help her relax.
The product appeals to me because it is all-natural. Colorado has been extremely dry this year, and my dogs are showing it. The fact that we have three small coton de tulear dogs demonstrates the aridity in which we are currently living. The white dog's coat appears to be pink: (His paws are also brown, and he can't seem to stop licking them. ) I'm using a variety of Amazon-purchased products to assist them, and it's working well. This product, on the other hand, was intended for them but ended up being used by me. Yes! It's ideal for rubbing our heels with. As I previously stated, not even lotion helps our feet stay moisturized at the moment, so when I read the ingredients, I decided to give it a try on my feet, and it worked like a charm. It's better than any lotion for people, in my opinion.
Due to a combination of the cold weather and the dry heat in our home, our Shetland Sheepdog developed very dry cracked paws this winter. The pads became especially irritated as the temperature dropped, and our Sheltie began to lick them constantly. We found this product after narrowing down our options, and it's fantastic! I got it yesterday, and it immediately improved the look and texture of our Sheltie's pads, but most importantly, he was comfortable again, and he hasn't touched them since. Thank you for your kindness, Bodhi Dog!.
He was wearing a splint and chewing on his paw. His paw was extremely irritated after the splint was removed. For three days, I used it twice per day. It was completely healed after that. He's no longer walking with a limp. br>If you are looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using.
