I believe it would be diluted if it was exposed to salt or chlorinated water, but it's best to check with the manufacturer.
Greetings from Natural Dog Company,br>br>No, mango butter is only found in our PawTection balm. br>br>If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
This is not the case.
Although the products are natural and toxin-free, I've seen a few users on social media claim that their pet puked after licking the product off their paws. I've been using them for over a year and my dog doesn't seem to mind licking them. I try to hold her or distract her for a few minutes after the product has been applied, which seems to help.

This was purchased for a member of my lab who suffers from sensitive skin. Running and swimming cause soreness in his paws. So far, it appears that he enjoys it. The scent of Pawtection is not overpowering. br>br>Con: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is not the place The only thing I don't like about the paw soother is the way it smells. It smells like food and has a strong herb scent. As if it were Thanksgiving stuffing. Because of how strong the smell is, I would not have purchased it. The room I'm in now smells, and I'm hoping his paws don't spread that scent throughout the house. I'll see what I can do about finding one that isn't scented. I can't give it 5 stars because of the overpowering scent. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> This is one of my dog's favorite treats, and it has helped him with his paws. He gets a kick out of it being placed on his paws. I can tell the difference, so regardless of the odor, I'll buy it again. It had a significant impact.
After getting rough, cracked, and dry from walks during our first Texas summer, my little dog's pads are in much better shape thanks to the Paw Soother and the Pawtection. The Pawtection makes Summer walks much more tolerable for a longer period of time and gives me great peace of mind that I am not torturing my dog on walks in Texas during the summer.
She also appears to be more at ease when we go for walks now! I'm looking forward to seeing them once they're fully recovered and healthy!.
However, it was a mess, and some of the product was wasted as a result. br>br> I'm not sure if this had an impact on the product's quality, but I used it on my pit bull's sensitive paws and it didn't make an immediate difference, as some other reviews claim. Her paws are back to where they were before once the balm has soaked in. br>br>It has helped her pads heal a little over time, and we've been using it consistently, and her paws are less rough now, and they don't burn or tear as easily as they used to (despite my protecting her from hot pavement and other hazards). **Photos show before and after application of Paw Soother; this is after we've been using the product for about 2 weeks*
br>This has helped my Lana's sensitive paws heal from scratches she received while zooming around on concrete, as well as preventing further scratches. Instead of being rough and gritty, her paws have become softer. br>br>Both products have a pleasant honey scent. She wants to lick it a little bit, but she gets easily distracted. There have been no negative side effects, which is a huge plus for us.
I bought these in the hopes of preventing my dog from slipping on the tile, but they actually made her slip even more. If you're buying these for the moisturizing, however, I think the smell and the moisturizing will suffice. I think it's a great idea, but if they want to advertise it as a way to prevent slipping, it could use some tweaking. Basically, it doesn't dry quickly enough, resulting in a goopy, hairy mess. Maybe I'm overdoing it, but I couldn't find any instructions that were particularly helpful. Good luck keeping your dog still while it "soaks in"br>br>Akita owner's advice - If your dog is slipping on tile, trim his nails and the fur around his pads. Take your dog to the vet right away if the foot is rolling to the point where the paw comes down on its knuckles, a condition known as "knuckling. ".
It was difficult to get her to stay still after I applied it, so I'm now putting baby socks on her paws to help it stay on longer and absorb more effectively.
All of my dog's paws have hyperkeratosis (also known as hairy paw). Because the overgrowth was hard, walking was painful for her, but after just a few days of using this, her paws began to soften and walking became less painful. After a month, most of the "hairy" part had faded away, and her paws appeared to be fairly normal. She is a big fan of it as well. She usually doesn't like it when people touch her feet, but she just lays down and falls asleep while I rub hers. It moisturizes and cools her paws at the same time. This is something I would strongly suggest for your dog.
This is one of my favorite combinations. My dog is an indoor dog who gets her paws a little rough and scratchy from time to time. I put some Paw Soother on her paws before I realized we had to leave and that she would be crated. After a few minutes, the softness of the pads has improved significantly. Because the oils need to soak in, we do it while she's in her crate. Otherwise, it gets tracked around the house and worn off before it can get to the paw pad to moisturize it. Pawtection is a waxy formula that protects her paws from being roughed up while out walking. Because we live in the suburbs, the concrete sidewalks can roughen the pads and cause them to scratch. That will no longer be the case. I've also used paw soother as a hand salve when I've been in a pinch. Texas is dry, and it works on humans as well. When I ran out of lotion, my skin looked like a reptile.
