You'll want to rub it into the paw pad after you've put it on. It will absorb into your hands almost instantly, just like a good hand lotion. It's a great product, and when I'm done with my dogs' paws, I rub my hands together, which makes my hands super doft too lol I have time flooring, but I don't think this will be an issue because it soaks into the skin.
Despite the fact that I've only used the product a dozen times on two dogs, there is no residue on the floors, tile, or carport; it goes on clear, stays on paws, and is easy to clean. They've been conditioned by the short amount of time they've been exposed to it.
It is simply excellent for all purposes.
Thank you so much for taking the time to send this message to me. I'm not sure what went wrong because the formula didn't change. Please return the item for a complimentary replacement tube or a refund. Thanks!

This was purchased for my 45-pound Doberman-Beagle mix. I'm a helicopter dog mom, and I'm constantly concerned for her safety. The ingredients were all natural and safe for dogs, which is why I ordered this product. As a result, ingesting it is not harmful. Because my dog is still a puppy and is in service training, she is still learning to leave things alone when I put them on her. So it was a concern that she would lick her paws after application. br>br>From playing, training, and simply being a puppy, Shaden's paws are very rough. She walks on concrete, blacktop, and uses her paws in training all the time, but she also plays in the snow, digs in the dirt, and runs a lot, so her paws get a lot of wear and tear. Anyway, I followed the instructions and used it three times a day for a few days before reviewing it. (I'll update this review after I've used it for six months. ) )br>br>First Impressions: br>As soon as I opened the package, I noticed how delicious the butter smelled. It was incredibly simple to use and did not leave a mess behind. You can literally just stick it on with the stick. I tried it on my mom's toy poodle, Shaden, in a twisting motion on each paw pad, which seemed to irritate him the least. The poodle's paw's size made it even easier to apply. With larger paws, I had to be extra careful to ensure that all of the paw pads were covered. br>br>Licking is a term used to describe the act of licking something. br>She did lick her paws after that to see what was going on, but not excessively. There is no need to make any changes. She sniffed them for a few moments before heading out to play in the snow. br>br>Staining: br>br> br>I ran a test to see if the oil left any residue on clothes or furniture, and it didn't. To test this, I had my 45 pound puppy stand on my shirt after applying butter, and there was no oil stain. Changes: br>br> br>I noticed a difference in Shaden's paws after applying three times the first day. They had already become less abrasive. Even though her worst paws were still rough, I could tell a difference on day one. br>br>Side Effects: br>br> br>I did keep an eye on Shaden's bowel movements after she licked her paws. There are no signs of diarrhea or other changes. It had no impact on my dog's gassiness. br>br>Day two: br>Shaden had grown accustomed to my doing so. Granted, she's in service training, but I believe the simple, no-mess roller application contributed to her success. I can see a difference in her paw health as well. I strongly advise any dog owner to use this paw butter.
My dog's cracked paws are now able to heal! With snow, ice, cold, and wind, my lab/golden mix has four enormous paws, and this winter was especially difficult. The paw butter balm creates a thin layer of protection between the paws, preventing further cracking. If you've ever used a tin of paw butter or lotion, you're aware of how messy it can be. After you've completed the first paw, you'll need to stop, gather more supplies, and hope that your dog hasn't bolted. This swivel chair can be adjusted to fit your needs. It's a lot easier with the up tube applicator. Furthermore, the paw butter balm absorbs quickly into the rough, dry areas, ensuring that it stays where it belongs: on your paws, not on your floors. It has a light, waxy scent with hints of lemon and lavender essential oils. I will buy from you again.
We have two young dogs who like to run around outside and play rough, which can be hard on their paws. I've noticed an improvement in the softness and smoothness of the pads on their feet after a few weeks of using Handy Hound Paw Butter. I expected it to be difficult to apply on Gertie because she dislikes having her feet touched, but she tolerates it well and appears to enjoy the massage. Chester is a little more hesitant about it being applied, but he tolerates it. The calming herbal scent is one of my favorites, and I have to say, it feels great on my chapped hands as I massage it into their paws. It's not at all messy, and the twist-up container makes it simple to apply and massage into the feet of dogs. I'm sure we'll get a lot of mileage out of a single 2 oz. tube.
It did the exact opposite; however, the product appeared to be well-made. My dog and I ran a marathon, and her shoes didn't make it, but I was lucky enough to order this. After that, because it was on the road, I placed it on her paws. The best I could do was keep her in the ditch. So, I figured, why not apply it to my other dogs as well? His is extremely soft, but I've never put anything on them. Do you think these are good qualities? Now that he's dried up, I'm in a lot of pain. The same goes for the other dogs. I stopped using it and replaced it with an organic mix I discovered on Pinterest; they are, thank God, improving. This is something I would never buy.
I ordered Paw Butter, but the first tube I received was defective; I contacted them, and they quickly responded, saying they would send me a replacement. It only took a few days for me to receive it. br>br>The product is fantastic in and of itself. It's very simple to use, and I can immediately see the butter absorbing into my dogs' paws. It provides relief before and after they have to walk on snow, ice, or salt, and it helps to prevent dried and cracked paws during the harsh Midwestern winters. I wouldn't say it creates a barrier from the salt and ice, but it does help with the wear on their pads. br>br>It also smells great, and I've only noticed a little licking of their paws after I've applied it. I don't think they're licking it all off; maybe they just like the taste and smell of it. br>br>Many thanks for your prompt service and excellent product, Handy Hound!.
What a brilliant idea for irritated canine paws! One of the best aspects is that you don't have to get your hands dirty in order to use it. We used to use a greasy balm in a jar that was both messy and ineffective; however, this Paw Butter is organic, has a pleasant light scent, and our dog appears to enjoy the application process. He's already cutting down on licking his paws. I am confident that we have finally discovered the ideal product!.
