Questions & Answers

Is it powered by batteries because it's elevtronic? Thank you very much. ?

Inside the ball, there is a button battery on a small green plastic computer board. It's my cat's favorite toy, but I only allow him to play with it when I'm home. I make a point of grabbing the battery before he swallows it when he chews the ball open.

Do you have the ability to turn it off?

It chirps as it moves - After a few seconds, it turns off on its own. This is something I strongly suggest you try - It's my cat's most beloved toy!

There is no need to remove the plastic tab. Is there a way to get it to chirp in a different way?

The pull out is supposed to be there. Also, the ones I bought stop chirping after a short period of time; the cat enjoys them, but they are only temporary.

Is there any extra catnip on the premises?

I didn't get any catnip with the one I got. It didn't even make a noise.

It's a DEAD parrot, 'E! Today I received my parrot
3/5

He tweeted once after removing the tab from the battery as directed. I tossed him to my cat, and he didn't make the expected tweet when he hit the ground: ("He's no longer there! 'E's life has come to an end, and he's gone to see his creator! 'E's a thorn in my side! 'E rests in peace, void of life!' He'd be pushing up the daisies if you hadn't nailed him to the perch! 'Its metabolic processes are now a thing of the past! 'E is no longer attached to the twig! 'E's passed away, shuffled off his mortal coil, run down the curtain, and joined the bleedin' choir invisible! THIS IS AN EX-OFFICIAL OFFICIAL OFFICIAL OFFIC PARROT! " Don't throw your money away.

CATS ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE SOUND
5/5

Petlinks, which were on sale for $2 at TJ Maxx, were the first to introduce me to this type of toy. My elderly cat, who is over ten years old, requires a great deal of stimulation to get him excited. He primarily enjoys sleeping with me, sleeping without me, or gazing out the window at the outside (though he no longer does so because he may have difficulty getting back up from the outside), but he comes alive with this toy. The Pink Version is now larger and has more frills hanging down, and it Squakes much louder, but I prefer the quieter chirp, and Buster still enjoys it. When I tie a string and stick to it, it reminds me of the kitty inside. I'll have to figure out how to make it spin so he can play while I'm away. He prefers it to the pricey cat toys that cats adore. I have yet to find a better cat toy. For $2. It's a resounding victory for the number 99. (I am not affiliated with the company. ) 5 STARS.

In less than an hour, Squeaker was dead
3/5

I'd give it a one-star rating if I had the option. My cat adores these toys, which I have been purchasing for more than twice the cost at my local pet store. I saw them here and was overjoyed at the prospect of saving money, so I ordered two. Last night, I gave him the first one. The chirper had died and there was no sound after 20 minutes. I figured I must have received a faulty toy, so I gave him the second one this morning. Within 20 minutes, the sound had vanished once more. My most recent one, which I bought at a pet store, lasted more than a year. I am extremely dissatisfied with my purchase and will never buy these products from this store again. Although the price is reasonable, if your cat intends to play with them, they will not last long. Save your money and stay away from these.

One of the first toys you should get for your cat is this one
5/5

Chirps are used to draw the cat's attention. These cat toys are a big hit with me. My cat died unexpectedly a few weeks ago. Because I am widowed and live alone, I had my daughter, who volunteers at our local animal shelter, put out feelers for the perfect kitty in need of a forever home. I was looking for a cat that likes to cuddle and lay in my lap, but isn't a kitten, and is at least a couple of years old. I expected it to take a while, but I figured that some of the volunteers, particularly one, would have a good understanding of the cats and be able to locate exactly what I required. She said she had the perfect kitty for me right away, much to my surprise. All of the boxes were checked in this one. I had to go out and buy him some new toys. One of these toys belonged to my other cat, and I came across another. Simply remove the small battery saver that prevents the toy from making noises and draining the battery. When the cat plays with this bird, it makes a soft chirping sound. The bird chirps away after being thrown by my cats. When they're messing around with it, I always know. The bird isn't made on a shoestring budget. It continues for a long time, with the bird's chirping sound delighting my cats. The bird is brightly colored, adorable, and well-made. This toy should be at the top of your list if you're looking for a great cat toy.

This is the best cat toy I've ever seen
5/5

This is the best cat toy I've ever seen. My cat has been completely obsessed with this toy for the past four years (he now has five because he keeps losing them under the sofa and is a bit rough with them). He never tires of chasing the birdie around, and if he didn't lose it under the couch or bed every 10 minutes, he'd probably play with it all day and never sleep. Keep an eye out for chirping. It may irritate you, but the cat cannot get enough of it. It really does sound like a real bird. Any other toy gets old for my cat in a matter of hours, if not days, but he is still as excited about Parrot Tweet today as he was four years ago.

I would strongly suggest it
5/5

This is the second time we've done a Tweet Thing. The first one was completely worn out due to our cat. We have an older cat, and getting her to do any kind of physical activity can be difficult at times. It only takes a few waves of this toy over her head, along with the accompanying "tweets," to get the job done. She rolls over, grabs it, bats it around, and purrs like a kitten once more! She does not appear to get tired of it. This is one of the few toys she's ever had that she'll play with independently. We'll occasionally hear "tweet, tweet, tweet" coming from the living room after we've gone to bed! We just smile because she's having so much fun with this fantastic toy.

This toy is fantastic
3/5

The construction is shoddy and the product isn't long-lasting. Overall, I give this toy three stars because the cats were immediately enamored with it. However, nearly every feather fell on our floor when they first touched their gift from Santa on Christmas morning. A smaller feather had to be removed from one of the cats' mouths a few seconds later. The sound of birds is very appealing to them. It does attract their attention, but we must keep an eye on them with this toy, which is now barren with only two feathers remaining. I believe the company's glue for gluing the feather in failed or dried up during the packaging/shipping process. I enlisted Amazon's assistance, but I'm unable to "return" a Santa gift without the children interrogating me. Instead, they advised me to post this review. Amazon has let me down. If you have a picture and proof that an item is defective, they will usually send a replacement.

It's very popular with cats - I would strongly suggest it
5/5

This toy has become my cat's obsession. We bought our first one at one of the big pet stores and couldn't find it after he destroyed it, but we were able to track it down on Amazon. It's quite durable, but because it's made of fabric, it will wear out over time. I just placed our third order, but it will be our third in less than two years. It has become an obsession for him. The chirping is something he enjoys. br>br>Loose fibers are something to be wary of or cautious of - When the toy begins to unravel on the back, make sure to put it away. I've been removing it once the back is mostly batting, but since we had problems yesterday, I'm going to start removing it sooner. My cat had gotten a string/fiber wrapped around one of his little front teeth earlier this week, and it was clearly from this bird toy, which I had to forcibly remove.
