No, it has a sliding on button that doesn't require any holding.
I only use it inside, between my living room and kitchen, so it's about 25 feet long. The dot, on the other hand, is a different story. The mouse has a shorter range. It shines brightly at first, but as you get closer, it begins to fade.
Hold the laser's body firmly in place while pulling the USB cover with your other hand. As you can see by the force required, it's extremely tight.

The fact that there is a rechargeable laser light piqued my interest. I'm sick of buying those store-bought laser lights, only to have the batteries die after a few uses. Because batteries are costly and cost more than the toy, I would simply purchase a new toy to replace the old one. It's awesome that this toy can be recharged. It's more than just a laser light; it also has a purple or black light (which I haven't tried), a flashlight (which is useful at night), and five laser light settings. There's a butterfly, a mouse, a smiley face, and a star, in addition to the standard pointer light. My cat is completely enamored with the star and smiley face. This product has made me very happy, and my cat enjoys it as well. The only issue I had with it was that the back cover was difficult to remove the first time, and it took several attempts. It is unlikely to be a problem if you have muscles. However, this is merely a cautionary note. Charging takes only a few minutes. It took me about 10 to 15 minutes to charge it, and it lasts for a few days before needing to be recharged. It didn't come with instructions, which I guess they figured you don't need for a light, but it would have been nice to have something telling about the back cover or just in general how to use it. It did come in a tin case, which I didn't expect, but it's nice to have. It didn't come with instructions, which I guess they figured you don't need for a light, but it's nice to have. Overall, the product is well-made, performs exactly as advertised, and is rechargeable. With this light, I'll be able to have a lot of fun with my cat.
I bought this after becoming frustrated with the cheaper dollar store versions falling apart after only a few days. It's a big hit with my cats, but it's even bigger with our dog. It's ideal for giving our pets exercise by changing the picture from dot to mouse, and so on. is a simple task. The box it comes in is particularly appealing to me. It's well safeguarded. It comes highly recommended from me.
It was packaged in a cute little tin. There are two switches to be found. It is possible to change between: I assume you have a black light, a flashlight, and a laser pointer. After that, the other alternates between the two images. It includes the following: Laser dot, mouse, smilie face, star, and butterfly are all originals. br>br>When she has the option, my cat prefers the star and the dot. br> br>It appears that my dog enjoys using the laser pointer as well, as he chases after the dot option. br>br>As a result, it works extremely well.
br>br>All right, let's see what we've got. Our cat is enchanted by the VARIETY of images to chase! (Oddly enough, it's the smiley face that really gets her going! Also, I'd just asked how to expose the USB unit in a previous post. Ours was a tight fit, but it did come off after some effort. Fits perfectly into the USB port on our laptop, so. There aren't any issues. I believe it was the'snugness' of something brand new that had been opened for the first time. br>br>Our cat adores this. It's extremely adaptable, and the aluminum pen case it comes in is also very stylish. Thank you for bringing happiness to everyone in this room. Karen.
All features worked well, and it was chargeable. I really wanted a laser pointer for my cat that didn't require batteries, because the one I had ran out of them quickly, and they were more expensive because they were the tiny kind for watches and small devices. The fact that it can be recharged is brilliant, and it's incredibly simple to do. The USB port is concealed beneath the cap, so it won't get in the way while you're holding it. I also enjoy all of the various images and features - It's a flashlight, a (very small) UV light, and a laser with a dot, star, smile, and other features. I assumed my cat would only be interested in the dot, but she actually chases after the pictures as well! The images bleed a little and have a halo around them, but they have a lot of power and brightness. I would strongly advise you to purchase for your pets!.
My kitten runs up to join in the fun. I bought a couple of catnip mouse toys for my cat. The traditional cat toy (a pole with feathers, for example) comes in a box. This one, on the other hand, comes out on top! br>br>EASY TO RECHARGE (at the end, detach the cover). The tin case keeps it safe. br>VERY brightbr>Plug it into a USB charger)br>VERY brightbr>The tin case keeps it safe. And no matter where my kittio is in the house, that slight clink sound rings a bell for her. This keeps her in shape on a regular basis:.
My new puppy enjoys chasing the little red light around the house. She just zooms around, and all I have to do is move my hand or arm. For her, this is a fantastic toy/exerciser. I would strongly suggest it.
It's extremely flimsy, and I'd be surprised if it lasts more than two weeks under normal conditions. I don't think it's even covered in real metal; it looks more like tin foil wrap. I would strongly advise you to use a different product.
