Basically, my dog does not mark. But my cat used to pee in the same place when she wasn't using the litter box or access to the litter box was blocked, and after I started using this, she stopped going back to that spot and started using her litter There was a time when I cleaned the floor the whole way up with just about every cleaning solution you could think of and it didn't seem to help, as she just kept returning there. As for the smell, we can assume the floor was cleaned with I have never found it bothersome, and it's certainly not the worst.
It's my first time using it and I am really pleased with it. A version that goes to extremes. By turning off all the lights in the room and using my UV light to search for urine spots on the carpet, I was able to identify urine spots. When I saw the glowing urine areas disappear before my eyes when the spray came into contact with them, I was VERY impressed. As far as I can tell, this was my first experience with this stuff.
The original Simple Solution stain remover I purchased was called "Stain & Wax". First I purchased the "Odor Remover" and then I purchased the "EXTREME Stain and Odor Remover" This product has been dubbed "Odor Remover". It includes Pro-Vet to kill bacteria as well. Both are designed for pet mess removal such as urine, feces, and vomit In spite of the enzymes and bacteria that break down organic proteins to neutralize odors, Extreme is 3X as concentrated as Regular. It is not necessary to mix either of these with water they are both safe for pets and children and can be used on any surface that is safe for water.
