In my opinion, it wouldn't be the case. Small pieces of litter that clump together should go in there. A pine pellet might be a little too large for me.
A litter mat is designed to capture litter kicked out by cats when they use a box or track it out after using a box. If you put litter (sand) on it, it will break
Semi-precious stones are used to make it It is a rigid plastic material. Washing in a machine would not be a good idea. It can be washed, but is not suitable for washing machines.

I have tried litter mats in the past, but they have a number of shortcomings I had two different problems with the boxes 1) my cat didnt like stepping on them and would launch himself out of the box (along with his litter) to avoid them, and 2) they were horribly messy if the cat went over the top and puked on them. The mat in question does not have any of those issues. Since I could open the mat, I rinsed the hexagons under the bathtub faucet without any issue! I was worried that my puke/clumped litter would get stuck in the little hexagons, but since the mat can be "opened up" I didn't have any issues! Thanks to my cat, who threw up on my new mat within a couple of hours of receiving it, I've been able to review it.
This is where I put the litter box in my master bathroom because I do not like getting litter on my feet when I walk into the room. My biggest surprise was to see that it does contain most of the litter and I've got a lot less mess to clean up each day. The mat is easy to pick up, and the litter caught in it can be dumped in the trash or back into the litter box later. We have 6 cats in our house (don't judge me)! He told me I should get a few more to put next to our other litter boxes.
I love it! My life would be so much easier if I had one of these contraptions! The game is changed forever! Despite the smell of kitty litter, my cat tracked it all over the place, and for reasons unknown I adore him. I was resigned to just walking through it the rest of my life, and I would pay any price to avoid The next step is to convince him not to keep attacking me without any cause. The next thing I will look for is that product.
It's hard to completely eliminate litter tracking, but these mats do a reasonable job of reducing it. This mat stops tracking much better than any other one I've owned, so I don't want to take away any stars for it. I have yet to find a method to completely eliminate tracking and this mat certainly does it better than any other mat I've ever Despite the fact that the packaging makes it difficult for me to pour the collected litter back into the boxes, I was drawn to this product due to the possibility of being able to easily pour the collected litter back into the boxes. As far as I can tell they pack and send the mats folded in half, and I would assume they store them that way as well. It has been at least a month since I bought them, and the crease where the fold was has not gone away, making it difficult to open the mat and re-fill the litter In any case it explodes when i try to clean it up and scatters litter everywhere. My rating would have been higher if these mats had been stored and packaged flat rather than rolled up.
Everything seems to be working fine. This is a perfect size for a kitchen cabinet. It's easy to maintain. No matter what kind of pine pellets or pine dust you throw, it will catch them. It was no problem to flatten At first, I was concerned about the foam-like material, but it works just fine. In addition, one cat attempted to jump over the edge, but he eventually gave up. Using the picture as an example To keep my cats clean, I use the Purina Tidy Cat Breeze system with 40 lb pine pelletized bedding purchased at Tractor Supply for $5. That will save you a lot of money.
There's litter everywhere in my house because I have an old cat! This has my full attention now. I tried this to see how much it captures. By placing one edge under the cat litter tray, I can keep his place and he can easily walk from box to mat. It appears to be soft, which means that his feet will not be hurt and that it will capture That it has a bottom section that actually holds litter that I can empties into trash or add back to litter tray is appealing to me.
I bought two A litter box for each pet. There is no problem with these. As I expected the ones I received to be smaller than I had anticipated, if I went back in time I would choose the larger size. However, they do a great job. It seems my cats spend a lot of time kicking out What makes a Litter Robot necessary for me. This litter mat is combined with the LR stairs and keeps litter contained 98% of the time. All I do is pick it up and dump back into the litter box every day or so. On the mat, one of my cats loves to nap.
Unfortunately, the mat came with its fringe cut off, latitudinally. I have been dealing with it for over a month and it doesn't seem to be relaxing down much This resulted in a decline in performance, but not irreparable damage. When I am starting a new litter box, I curl up the corner longitudinally and place one end in the litter box. I then tap the backside to release the litter caught inside. My plan is to put a couple of bricks on it one day to remove the hump. The outcome is the same. In my case, I just curl up the fiber.
