Mats like this are hard to find. This product has compared well to others, and I plan on getting a few more for my neighbors with This 20 x 30 half circle works really well with the corner litter boxes that I have. Just lay it down before the litter box and I'm good to go. My hardwood floors are not slippery when it's wet. During 6 hours on the floor, the extra large version of this bad boy was peed on by my cat. My attention was not caught right away, but my suspicion is that it might have been there for some time My cloth was soaked through after an hour. When I attempted to clean it, I found it completely wet. It sounds like a great idea to use a puppy training pad from Auldone, and we are definitely going to try it.
The question is a good one. Seeing the picture, it certainly appears that all of the lines can be cut with no trouble. A piece of the mat got stuck to my floors as it deteriorated. As a result, the floor was covered with pieces of itself. There is no word on whether the floor was ruined. There was a problem with the one I was using. Due to the high ratings and good outcomes reported for this mat, I chose this one. It has only been a few weeks since I started using it, but I am noticing a great reduction in cat liter on my floors already. Over the past few years, I have swept the floors less frequently, as I used to sweep them every day. As I have found it easy to fold up, I take it outside to shake off the liter to clean it. While I have tried running the vacuum over it as well, I have found that by removing it and shaking it off, I get more of it The feeling of the material seems to be good for my cats. New litter box was bought to go with this. This mat looks like a urine mat to the cat. Litter catches well and urine is held for a very long period of time. As soon as I pull it outside, I let it rise, and it drips dry in 15 minutes, then I put it back in front of the box. I didn't spend much time training with Cat. Seeing as there are rectangles of three-eighth inch high shiny plastic loops on both sides of the cat's interior, if the cat uses one corner for urination, the other side will not be soaked as well since rectangles stand 3/8 inches tall.
As far as I could see, the mat is large enough for my purpose. I clean it without having to move it since this nonstick dish is not sticky. When I dig in the litter box, my cat pees right in front of the base of the box but flings tons of litter onto the floor outside of it. She makes a lot of mess on the mat, so I can easily vacuum it up with the vacuum. While I experience the same problem that other people have had, of litter getting trapped between the patterns of the mesh mat, keeping the litter in the mat rather than spreading its spread elsewhere, that is the whole point of this mat. When I take the mat outside once a week and bang it around, I remove the litter trapped inside. I think this mat is worth it in the end.
Now for the fun part! The litter mat has not moved over the laminate flooring, even when it is standing on an angle. It seems like a reasonable price for a mat of such good quality. The size is ideal, and the price is also reasonable. The durability of the product is important. I will update this review in about 6 months to describe how durable I find the mat to be. However, it is too early to share that, but I will try to do so if I remember to. The Gorilla Grip litter mat is my choice among the vast array of litter mats out there, and I believe it's a great product.
