Questions & Answers

Is there a dropper included with this?

This is not something I would recommend. It's a thin liquid with a hefty dosage. Instead, go for pro pectalin. It's a gel, which makes it a lot easier to work with. It's a much lower dose. You can either put it in their food or let them lick it off your finger or a spoon.

Sorbitol isn't good for cats, isn't it?

I'm not sure. Actually, I used it on all 13 of my cats and it had no negative effects on them, not even a minor side effect. It was also ineffective for them.

Is this something that can be kept in the fridge?

I've never bought this, but I keep all of my cat supplements in the fridge. If I bought this, I would definitely keep it refrigerated because it appears to be liquid.

It might just work if you give it a shot
4/5

There is no need to take a picture of the product because it is exactly as it appears. br>Last year, I adopted a four-year-old cat from a shelter who had severe diarrhea issues that I hadn't been told about, ugh! It didn't help that I went to the vet and got blood tests and expensive liquid meds. For several months, I was at my wit's end. When I came across this, I was still looking for a product to help her with her problem. I figured, what the hell, I'll give it a shot for the price. I stopped going to the pharmacy to get my expensive medication and instead ordered a cheaper pill from an online pharmacy. In the morning and evening, I added Vet Worthy to her sensitive stomach wet food. I only feed her about a tablespoon of wet food and a teaspoon of Vet Worthy. During the day, she can snack on dry Blue Buffalo sensitive stomach food. This product along with the Prednisolone 1/2 pill given twice a day has helped her about 80% which I will take! I started both items at the same time for my cat, and while she still has soft stools in her litter box, the diarrhea drips. The big dollops have vanished from the scene. For months, I had been wiping and mopping every day and was ready to shave my head. I have four other cats and have never had to deal with a situation like this before. br>As a stand-alone product for treating diarrhoea in cats, I can't say it completely works because I give my cat pills and sensitive food, so I gave it four stars. It is worthwhile to give it a shot.

This is actually quite effective
5/5

My 14-pound senior cat had diarrhea and vomiting on a regular basis. After taking stool samples and paying me a visit, my veterinarian prescribed probiotics and explained that it was most likely due to stress from being introduced to my home and my other cat so recently. I gave it to him for two months. It was a complete failure. The vet prescribed metronidazole to me after that. I tried giving it to him for a month, but it didn't work. Then I tried psyllium fiber, which slowed it down and thickened it up a bit, but it didn't work. My other cat, unfortunately, became ill and died in the meantime. I had read that cats should not be given kaopectate because it contains aspirin, which is toxic to them. I was in a bad mood and went to Amazon to look for anti-depressants. I was looking for a diarrheal product for cats and came across this one, making sure it didn't contain any aspirin in the ingredients. I blended 1 tsp of Sheba perfect portion with about 1 tbsp of water in a half container of Sheba perfect portion. It was no problem for my cat to eat it. His next BM was "almost" normal, but he went again a few hours later with diarrhea, so I gave him the other half of the wet food and 1 teaspoon of Vet Worthy Anti-Diarrhea Supplement. 1 tbsp water and diarrhea, blended (His BM was almost normal at this point, about 12 hours later. ) I haven't given him anything since the first day, and it's been four days. His BM has returned to its previous state. There was also no vomiting. His coat has returned to its previous lustrous state. I wish I had known about this earlier; perhaps my other sweet cat would not have become ill and died. 😪.

Thank you very much! So it's only been three days since I've been using it, but I've tried a lot of other anti-diarrhea products for my cat
5/5

Because he has such a hard time taking medicine, I always put it in his food. He doesn't like the taste of any of them, but this is the first medicine I've come across that makes him finish his entire plate of food, so the scent is enough for him. This has to be the best cat flavor I've come across so far. br>br>I purchased this because my cat Sharts all of the time. (I fart) poop) on a daily basis This has made such a difference that I'm no longer frantically searching the house for poo! Although it has only been three days, so far everything has gone well.

She's eating it, oh my goodness
5/5

You have no idea how physically relieved I am right now because the cat is eating it. She is the world's pickiest cat. I'm not sure if it'll work yet, but the fact that she's taking the medicine gives me hope. Because of her diarrhea farts forcing me to wash bed sheets daily for so long, I've been trapped in a tunnel for so long with no light in sight. The vets don't know what's wrong and want to charge thousands of dollars for tests that may or may not reveal anything, and Texas is a horrible place, so I'm hoping it's just the stress of moving, and her bowel irritation/inflammation that was once present never had a chance to calm down.

It's a good back-up to the Provable kit
4/5

This did not work for severe diarrhea after only a few days of use. My devoted cats had been dumped just before Christmas, and they were sick and depressed. Due to a lack of funds, the shelter was unable to treat the diarrhea. Only the more expensive Proviable kit, which contains a tiny amount of kaolin pectin paste with super probiotics, provided immediate relief after two weeks of use, but this liquid blends well with a large teaspoon of Royal Canin Digest pate, so even a picky eater cat who isn't overfed will eat this medicine, and it may be enough for milder cases with a less, long-term messed up GI tract. I also believe that having food available 24/7 at the shelter, where several other cats were eating and stressing, messed up my rescue cats. I've found that withholding food overnight allows the GI tract to rest, and I'm sticking to Royal Canin Digestive dry food. If the now-beautiful stools become squirty or frequent again, this will be the first thing I try. They're Angels of Companionship!.

It's quite effective
5/5

I gave this to my cat, who suffers from digestive sensitivities and incontinence, after she became ill after eating some wet food with gravy that didn't agree with her. This was an excellent solution. I mixed it in with her food once a day until her diarrhea went away (which was only a couple of days)! It tastes like a cat's version of milk of magnesia, and she likes it. I'm glad I was able to find something like this to save money on a vet visit.

ON MY FOSTER KITTENS, IT WORKS WONDERFULLY
5/5

I've been fostering kittens who will occasionally eat my cats' food, which is obviously not the same as their kitten food. Because the kittens' stomachs can't handle the adult food, they get the squirts. I've been using this anti-virus software for quite some time now. It's diarrhoea for kittens, and it's effective! I strongly suggest it! br>br>By the way, if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words Because some of my kittens are still under the age of five, I reduce the dosage. br>br>I'm giving it five stars for flavor because it doesn't make the kittens gag. (I'm afraid I haven't tried it yet!).
