Although the product may work for some people, it did not work for the cat I was fostering, who improved briefly before relapsing. if it will be eaten by your cat! This product was originally purchased for a cat who was suffering from food sensitivities and IBS. The cat had a fish sensitivity, which I discovered. Her severe chronic diarrhea was relieved after I changed her diet- Bloody stools are no longer an issue. While she was recovering, I still wanted to provide her with some digestive support. Unfortunately, she refused to eat this product in beef flavor, and I had a sample of a similar tuna-flavored product that she also refused to eat. Rather than returning it to the company (which, by the way, does a fantastic job with returns), I decided to keep it in case another cat got diarrhea. I tried it on another cat with soft stools later, but she refused to eat it as well, so I put it away and almost forgot about it. br>br>Lo and behold, a Turkish Angora mix queen I was fostering for a local rescue organization had just finished weaning her litter and developed an extremely severe case of diarrhea. She was incontinent and had to go to the bathroom several times a day. She had a parasite test and came up negative. She had already been tested and treated several times because she came from a rescue organization and was being prepared for adoption. I began to experiment with more traditional treatments (Pro-biotics, for example). Pectalin, Fortiflora) but to no avail. I needed to get her healed up as soon as possible, not only for her health, but also so that she could be adopted like her precious kittens. Those who work in animal rescue know how difficult it is to find loving adoptive homes for cats who have been in foster care for a long time.
