I didn't have a syringe to use it with and my dogs aren't and wouldn't have fought me, so I mixed it with some Greek yogurt and it looked gross but the picky eaters licked every bit up and now I have solid (black yes) poop and I couldn Because my little stinkers get into everything, I'm glad I'll be able to use this in the future! This is a must-have for any pet owner's first-aid kit!.
Our basset hound has an unsavory habit of consuming feces. (Coprophagia) We tried every supplement and home remedy we could find - but nothing worked. She simply enjoys eating feces. br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b 11), she began to experience bloating, which we eventually traced to her eating poop. As a result of our efforts to keep her from eating poop, our lives have obviously changed. She does, however, manage to get away with it on occasion. What I believe happens is that the bacteria hides in her stomach all day, then feasts on the dog food as it enters her stomach when it's time to eat. She bloats in a matter of hours - severe. We almost lost her the first time, but thanks to a wonderful vet, we've been able to get her in at all hours of the night and he's ported or tubed her to remove the air. Her stomach is never twisted, but she is always bloated. Neither exploratory surgery nor a biopsy revealed anything. br>br>What we (the vet) discovered is that toxiban suspension, when used as a remedy, coats the gas buildup and prevents it from reforming after she's been deflated. We discovered that it also works to reduce the amount of gas produced by the construction process at home. (I'm crossing my fingers that it keeps working as an antidote. ) br>br>When Bessie Lou (65 lbs) needs it, we give her 30ml. She enjoys the flavor, but she also enjoys the taste of poop, so your dog's preferences may differ. In contrast to the blue label, the orange label contains sorbitol, which aids in stool loosening. In any case, due to the charcoal, the stool will be black. br>br>In the last eight months, I've gone through a few bottles of the stuff (she's cunning). This should be included in your emergency kit if you own a dog. (It's not just for eating poop; it's also a poisoning remedy).
I hope I never have to use it, but if I do, I will give my pet a fighting chance of surviving something toxic or poisonous.
This could buy you the time you need to save your dog's life while driving to the vet after poisoning.
They're the same age as children. If you have a cat or a dog, this is the place to be. This is a must-have for your pantry! My dog's life was saved because of you!! And it cost me a few hundred dollars in vet bills.
The photo is incorrect. The product does not resemble the image in any way. I'm only giving three stars because the product I received is still usable, but this is a clear case of false advertising.
