This is what I give to my dog when she has a UTI at home. There is plenty of water to mix it in with both cooked and raw meals. I recommend adding a small amount of water to the powder and mixing it in to make a gravy for the dry food or using it as a treat in wet cat food.

My vet recommended it, and I've used it on two of my dogs with urinary tract issues. When she was a puppy and we were gone for a long time, we took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection and prescribed antibiotics, which seemed to work at first. But the same problem reappeared just days after she finished the medication, so she went back to the same vet, who prescribed the same antibiotic, but for a longer period of time, and the same problem reappeared just days after she finished the medication. When I told her about our pup's symptoms and that she had already been prescribed two rounds of antibiotics and was now back for a third time, our vet said that the issues she was having would not be cured by the antibiotics she had been prescribed and advised us to use this product, which did exactly that. Everything with our dog was back to normal within seven days. We're currently using it on our 13-year-old dog, who had two UTIs before being diagnosed with inoperable bladder cancer, and despite being told that she'll likely get more UTIs as a result of the cancer, she hasn't had any since we started giving her Cranberry Comfort. I would highly recommend this product to anyone whose dog or cat has a urinary tract or bladder issue.
My cat's urine pH level was too alkaline in his most recent urinalysis, so I bought this item after doing some research online. It was eight inches in length. The average is supposed to be 6, but it's 5 in this case. 2 to 6. His veterinarian warned that if we don't get it under control quickly, he'll be at risk of kidney failure, despite the fact that his lab tests have yet to reveal any crystals. br>br>Since my kitty turned 11 years old, I've been trying to find a way to make her happy. The vet advised that he be put on a Senior Cat food diet right away. I bought him Nutro Max Senior Cat Food, which he really enjoys. I also changed his wet food to Tiki Napili and Puka Puka because those are the only ones he seems to like, and I mixed the Cranberry Comfort into his wet food as directed - I believe I took two spoonfuls twice a week for the first week, then one spoonful twice a week after that. He's a picky eater who won't eat anything with vegetables in it, but the Cranberry Comfort powder seems to work for him once mixed in. So he'd been on the new dried food, new wet food, and the Cranberry Comfort diet for a year and a half. When I took him back to the vet two weeks ago, he was 5 months old. The pH of his urine has returned to a normal level of 6. As a result, I'm overjoyed with the outcome. br>br>I'm not sure if this Cranberry Comfort helped a little or a lot, but it certainly didn't hurt, and since he doesn't seem to mind the taste with the wet food, I'll keep mixing it in. It's worth it to have him as healthy as possible for your own peace of mind.
This product is used by my two dogs (a 18 pound shih tzu and a 60 pound shar-pei). For urinary health, I use my cat (a Pei mix) and my dog (a Pei mix). The Shih- Due to a high urine PH, Tzu was put on an expensive (yet unhealthy) prescription diet, so I bought this to supplement his regular diet. We haven't had any problems with high urine PH after several years of doing this. Then there was my grandfather, Shar- Pei began to have incontinence while sleeping, peeing on herself and whatever was under her. I decided to give it to her to see if it would help, and I noticed an immediate difference. She now only has accidents at night when she is sleeping deeply (we have young children and a noisy house during the day) after several months of two scoops, twice a week. We were heartbroken when an older male cat had to be euthanized due to complications caused by a urinary blockage. That's when we decided to put our younger male cat on it as well, as a preventative measure, because our other boy didn't show any symptoms until he needed surgery. As a result, the smaller pets receive one scoop twice a week, while the larger dog receives two scoops twice a week. This jar lasted almost 9 months at 8 scoops per week, which is significantly less expensive than buying dog and cat treats (which my cat wouldn't touch anyway). Both dogs will lick the powder from my hand, but that will be a messy situation (I love my dogs, but not their slobber!). ), so I just mix it in with their wet food, and even the cat likes it! In our house, this product is a huge hit.
This product was suggested by my veterinarian, and I decided to give it a try. For the past two years, my small cockatoo has had urinary tract infections on and off. They have gotten worse this year. This product was suggested by my veterinarian, and I decided to give it a try. (also: I did some research on my own and discovered that eating certain fruits and vegetables can cause a dog's urinary tract to become basic. I began feeding my puppy bites of whatever fruit and vegetable I happened to be eating at the time. This, unbeknownst to me, was causing her urinary tract problems). br>br>Anyway, I stopped giving her vegetable and fruit bites and replaced them with this product in her kibble. Her urine tests returned in the normal range (high end of normal) after a month. Her test results improved even more after two months. br>br>As a result, I recommend that you use this to help your dog's urinary tract get back to normal. I continue to give her this product as a preventative measure, and she is doing fine. br>br>As of May 26, 2015: Despite the fact that my veterinarian recommended this product, he later informed me that it was ineffective in treating my dog's problem. I'm still perplexed as to why he advised her to do something he knew wouldn't work. So, while it appears that this product did no harm and that my dog's UTI improved, I'd have to reduce my rating to three stars just to be safe.
