You can look up the exact ingredients by going to drugs.com and typing in the toothpaste's name. We threw the box away, so we don't have direct access to the information you're looking for. However, we have two cats who accept this paste, which is manufactured in the United States, and we tried it after doing some research. We had bought another brand from Dr. Becker's website, but they had rejected it completely. They seem to like this brand, and so far, we've had good results. Brushing our cats' teeth isn't easy, but as our veterinarian says, "something is better than nothing." It's worth a shot if your dog enjoys the taste of chicken.
That's what I believe. Any of the enzymatic toothpastes should work if you brush your dog's teeth on a regular basis. This one's flavor is particularly appealing to my dog.
Yes, this item is made in Fort Worth, Texas, in the United States.
It's for a single tube only. It's a hit with my dog.

When I adopted her, she had terrible tarter, but I couldn't take her to the "vet dentist" because of health issues (she can't handle anesthesia). This toothpaste was recommended to me by a veterinarian in Berkeley, and I've been using it since then. Every time we visit (another) veterinarian, the staff exclaims about how beautiful her teeth are! Yes, too: br>br>Also, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes The chicken flavor is one of my cat's favorites. So much so that I was able to teach her to open her mouth on command so that I could brush her teeth more easily. She is one of a kind.
The other is a one-year-old who still has a lot of teeth. I tried another toothpaste and it didn't make a difference, but they both liked the flavor and scent of this one. Allowing them to smell and lick some, as well as brushing a few teeth, I was able to complete their entire mouth. It's been about 2-years since I've used it. I brush my older dog's teeth three times a week and try to get up to every other day at the very least, and I noticed that the plaque was starting to disappear when I went to brush his teeth! Her teeth have improved dramatically in appearance over the last month; she still has some plaque, but it's amazing compared to before. I'll continue to do so and post photos. I strongly suggest it.
He even wants to chew and lick the bristles at the end of the brushing to get every last drop of flavor. I can't imagine brushing his teeth with a toothpaste he doesn't like.
EDIT: I didn't see any warnings about how much they can eat, so I smeared a tiny bit on my cat's pills when he refused to eat them. I ate the pills whole. I wouldn't give it to him as a treat or anything because I'm not sure how much is good for them, but it's also been a lifesaver!.
Furthermore, a friend said that her dog enjoyed this toothpaste - Which I found hard to believe because none of my dogs have ever *loved* toothpaste before, but after using this brand, my dog now does. A number of videos are available online that suggest *gradually* introducing your dog to toothbrushing by using your finger rather than a brush and brushing (even with the finger) for only a few seconds at a time. Also, make sure to get this enzymatic toothpaste in the poultry flavor.
I was brushing her teeth with a toothbrush or gauze before she had her dental treatment. I was using this product after her dental appointment, and to my surprise, she was okay with it, probably because of the flavor. I was only using a small amount, and I wasn't putting it on the inside of her teeth, so I wasn't getting into her gag zone, as the vet recommended, and it made my dog vomit, even though she was full. She was fine on days when I didn't use toothpaste; she ate normally and didn't throw up. This is likely a fantastic product for 99% of the population but unfortunately not for my dog it's not for me.
They are usually uninterested in the toothpastes I purchase for them. This excites them to no end. They went crazy the first time I let them lick a gob off my finger; it must taste good because they acted as if I was giving them a treat. The only drawback is that my naughty cats dragged the tube to the floor, where they spent the night puncturing it and squeezing out more of their new "treat. " "I intend to re-enter the workforce. " I need to find a better hiding spot for the tube in order to keep it in order. ps: br>br> Because the post office insisted on requiring a signature for the package, it took two weeks of message tag with them before they finally delivered it. Why is that? I'm not sure. But it was well worth the effort to find a toothpaste that my cats adore.
My Min Pin was born with bad teeth to begin with - When he got him, he needed extensive dental work. We've had several dental extractions, and I'm concerned that he'll lose the majority of his teeth. Until we got this tooth paste, that is; he wants to try the toothpaste, so he now lets us brush his teeth (though he tries to eat it while we brush him - but hey - He doesn't flee and allows us to brush our teeth! ) His teeth have improved in appearance, and brushing them is no longer a losing battle. It's so much better to know this isn't a torment for him as well - When he sees the toothpaste, he comes to us, and this toothpaste is our best hope for keeping his teeth healthy and reducing the need for sedation dental cleaning.
Vetquinol products are my favorites; they consistently deliver excellent results for me. This toothpaste is comparable to Virbac in terms of quality and price. Although the tube is slightly larger and made of plastic rather than metal, I haven't had any issues with it splitting open like I have with Virbac; however, this toothpaste has a noticeable savory scent to it, so my cat's breath did not smell any fresher, and it actually covered up the telltale foul breath when my cat developed a dental infection (unrelated to the toothpaste; chronic condition). Virbac is odorless in my experience, so any unpleasant odors are immediately apparent. Tasty- It can be a good thing to smell toothpaste, but it isn't in my case. br>br>Because my cat is immunocompromised and susceptible to oral infections, I will not be purchasing this toothpaste again because it concealed a problem that resulted in an expensive vet bill and a very unhappy cat.
