Questions & Answers

I'm trying to figure out where this came from. ?

Made in Texas, USA

This item's title reads "vet solutions Enzadent oral rinse 8 oz," but the bottle reads "Dentahex." Which one is it?

Dentahex is the brand name, but there are others that work similarly.

Is it possible to add this to a weekly-changed running water bowl? Is it okay to put this in a fountain's drinking water?

I don't think any animal would want to drink this stuff- It tastes like chlorhexadine!!

Hello, I have a peppermint-flavored chlorhexadine oral rinse that my dog despises; is this one flavored as well?

There will be no flavor! Also, because there is nothing to bite or eat with chlorhexadine, some dogs dislike it.

However, you must put it to good use! One of my cats (who had recently been adopted from the street) had severe gingivitis, to the point where my vet refused to give her a dental cleaning due to the risk of excessive bleeding. Dentahex should be applied every day for a month before dental work, according to the vet. My veterinarian was ecstatic with the results after a month of Dentahex treatment, and my cat is now scheduled for a much safer dental appointment. The veterinarian was so pleased that she reduced the frequency of Dentahex treatments from once a day to three times a week. (I can't express how pleased that made both of us. ) I'm here with the cat. )br>br>According to the instructions on the bottle, squirt Dentahex along the gumline on each side of the mouth, then allow it to spread throughout the oral cavity. That is something I, as well as my veterinarian, are opposed to. We don't want the cat to consume any more of this than is absolutely necessary. (Make sure you read the warning label on your mouthwash bottle. ) You should seek medical attention right away if you swallow a large mouthful. )br>br>Here's how it works for me: I get Q-brand Q-brand Q-brand Q-brand Q-brand Q-brand Q Tips. In comparison to store brands, they have more cotton at the tip. I marinated 2 or 3 of them in Dentahex for a few minutes to make the tips super-crispy. oversaturated If you can just (gently) press the Q-tip's business end, that will suffice. Tip the saturated Q-tip against the animal's gums for a second or two (both upper and lower, both sides). The Dentahex will be released by the tip, and the rinse should be evenly distributed throughout the mouth. And as long as you've gotten the Q-, you're good to go. Even if it's only for a second or two, get in there and GENTLY move it back and forth across the animal's gums. br>br>I understand that for most of us, this is a difficult task. For me, it was a difficult task. Over the years, I've had a lot of cats, and none of them have been happy to take medication. I was able to do the right thing for this cat thanks to the technique I described above. (It wasn't easy even after that. ) ) However, if you adore your pet(s), there is another option: "This is too much for me!" she says, simply bailing. Poor oral health promotes a pro-inflammatory environment, which should be avoided. All animals, including humans, experience an inflammatory state throughout their bodies. "Hey, I'm feeling lousy," your dog or cat can't tell you. "But believe me when I say that if you don't take good care of their oral health. Furthermore, their gums deteriorate significantly. They'll be miserable and sick to their stomachs. br>br>Finally, I'd like to share with you my final thought: I'm in a wheelchair and have to do everything on my own. If you can find a volunteer in your area and the two of you simply double-up, that would be ideal. While standing up, team up with the dog or cat. You've exhausted your excuses, in my opinion.

I couldn't possibly recommend this for off-label uses without mentioning the minty freshness with which it slaughters your oral pestilence and restores your sanity and health

Ginger is her name, and she is in her eighties and suffers from a variety of ailments that she seems to be able to overcome one by one. one as they become accustomed to their surroundings She was blinded by a falling palm frond, is practically deaf, suffers from dementia, and relieves herself wherever and whenever she feels the urge. br>br>She also has a bad case of bad breath and has lost a lot of her teeth. Her given names include Gingervitis, Stinkerella, Deathbreath, and Badhair, among others. Our vet's oral rinse didn't seem to help with her bad breath, so I went on Amazon and found Vetoquninol Dentahex Oral Hygiene Rinse, which had mostly positive reviews and a reasonable price. br>br>My wife immediately complained that it has a strong minty scent to it, and Ginger avoids getting it squirted in her mouth. However, it must be strong enough to be effective, because when we pick her up, we never notice her previous bad breath. It may or may not be to her liking, but it appears to work. Strongly suggested.

There's a lot of stuff on there that isn't likely to be good for dogs

Sorbitol, alcohol, artificial flavors (mint), and colors are all present in this product. I'm guessing this is a human mouthwash that has been repackaged in a smaller bottle with a higher price. I wouldn't want my dog to ingest too much of this, so tips is a great way to use it. Closys unflavored rinse is what I'm going to use for my dog. It has no taste and is clear, with the active ingredient stabilized chlorine dioxide; it contains no alcohol and is extremely gentle (yet effective). It's available for purchase on Amazon here. My kids and I both use it twice a day. While it isn't specifically for pets, I am confident that it would be safer to use on my dog than this product. br>br>One of the safest ingredients in the food industry today is chlorine dioxide. This active ingredient is an antibacterial agent that is both effective and safe to use. Chlorine dioxide has no negative effects on periodontal tissues in vitro and has no effect on fibroblastic activity.

] Immediate Impact Reducing Gingivitis Inflammation on Angel Dog Baby's Gums. ]br>br>[Our 9-year-old dog R. ]br>br>[Our 9-year-old dog R. ]br>br>[Our 9-year-old dog R. ]br>br> Buckminster "Bucky" Fuller II was diagnosed with gingivitis, and our vet advised us to monitor his gums. When I looked at his gums, he had one large inflamed spot over his right canine, which was SUPER red and nasty looking. It was a lot of fun. So I went online and looked up topical products that we could use to help the fuzzy dude with the inflammation and pain he was having. There were four of this item. Because it received 5 stars, I decided to give it a try. Well. The spot on Bucky's gum has shrunk in size and the color has changed from fire engine red to bright pink after less than a week of use with this product. We can't say enough good things about this product; it's fantastic.
