This brush had no effect on my long-term pain. haired cats of their excess fur, so if you're looking for a de-haired cat, this is the place to go. If you're looking for shedding brush, go somewhere else. This brush, on the other hand, is for you if you want your cat to sit on your lap until your arm gets tired. They prefer it to any other brush I own on both sides (and they don't like it when their fur is stolen). My boys have only given it positive feedback, but it is a bonding brush rather than a grooming brush (at least for cats with medium to long hair). It also doesn't detangle mats, but I'm glad I bought it because it makes my cats so happy when I use it on them, and it's taught them that not all brushes are bad. However, one of my cats is an older gentleman who has difficulty cleaning himself properly these days and is prone to dandruff outbreaks. I've discovered that the soft-serve ice cream is much better than the hard-serv When the bristled side of this brush is wet, it removes the nasty skin flakes from his fur better than anything else. However, I can only hope that this is a rare cat problem (because it's extremely disgusting), so I'm not sure how useful that is. My only other gripe is that it is extremely difficult to clean. Getting it wet and combing it out seems to be the most effective way to remove the loose fur. EDIT: br>br> This would probably work well for a short-haired dog, which I had forgotten existed.
We finally found a slicker brush that will remove tangles from my lionhead bunny without scratching her skin after many purchases and returns. She also enjoys the plush nylon side. She sat motionless for nearly 15 minutes while I brushed her, and then she nodded off.
This small brush has a lovely shape and brushes nicely for my small dog. Get right in front of my dog's eyes. This is the only brush I use on the brush side, and it works great with my long-haired Shi Tzu. Great buy, no regrets!.
Our cats will love this brush because it is the perfect size. It's simple to operate, they enjoy it, and it's relatively simple to clean. You can see what a few seconds of brushing out the hair does in the photo. The shedding brush directs hair to the bottom of the brush, preventing it from returning to the cat. This brush has made a big impression on me. I would strongly recommend it to antinen who has had difficulty finding a brush that both the cats and I enjoy as much as I do. We have a grooming mitt, which they don't like.
This dog brush is simple to hold and use. I have arthritis in my hands, and the handle is sturdy, making it simple to hold and use. This is the second small cat brush I've purchased for grooming my cats. The pins aren't dense enough to pick up fur once again on the pin side. Useless. I have some old wood handled brushes with pins on one side and bristles on the other. They work fine, but the pins are worn out. The pins are more densely packed on these older brushes. When I brush the cats, you'll notice a difference. There is a greater amount of opposition. I'm sick of wasting money on brushes that aren't good enough.
I bought this for my Calico who is shedding her winter coat and was hoping it would help me get ahead of her shedding on everything. Unfortunately, neither side of the brush appears to be able to pick up much of her stray hair. The bristles cannot penetrate her fur because the soft side is far too soft and thick. They simply glide over the top of her fur, picking up none of the loose hair. The wire side penetrates the fur, but the wires are so far apart that they only pick up a small amount of loose fur. It gets some of it, but not a lot of it. So it goes from one extreme on one side to the other extreme on the other side. br> Overall, this brush doesn't do a very good job with my short hair Calico. It left me feeling very disappointed.
Both sides are involved. He is a long-haired cat who gets a few mats in his fur that I have to brush out every now and then, and it holds up beautifully to difficult-to-brush-out hair. Of course, if it's too matted, you'll have to cut it off because no brush will be able to remove it. It's simply unavoidable at times. All it would do is pull kitty's fur out, causing him pain. He purrs the entire time I brush him, and he even rubs his face against the brush when I don't brush him. He adores this brush, and I can't use it on him for long periods of time because he becomes overstimulated and thinks it's a toy, which he tries to bite. The brush's fur can be easily removed from both sides. Also, he likes to sit on the fabric seat cushions that I have on our kitchen table chairs, and he sheds a lot. I discovered that the brush's one side can be used to remove hair from the seat cushions. Bonus!.
