Questions & Answers

Is there a separate can for both collars or both within the same can?

I'm glad you contacted me. Thanks for getting in touch with me. For each can of Seresto®, one collar needs to be used.

Does this appear to be a break-in What is the best place to keep cats out of the rain?

It is not necessary for them to Nonetheless, I have used them without issues for quite a few years on my outdoor cats. They also work well!

They seem to be odorless, but are they really? Do you find flea collars offensive to the smell?

The smell from them was never unpleasant. The collars of my little dogs have never smelt to me, even though I was with them all the time. It works so well on my pets that I can no longer deal with fleas. They are wonderful, and I plan to buy them in the future.

Both cats are still biting at their fleas after a few weeks and I am still getting bitten despite bombing the house. The link does not seem to be working. What gives?

I am grateful for your sharing your experience with us. There is a possibility that your pet will still have fleas on him or her in the future. There is nothing abnormal about this process. It is part of the treatment. The key to treating a flea infestation is to maintain the treatment regimen for several months, as treating a flea infestation usually takes time. The fleas that you are seeing on your pet today are different from the fleas that you saw when you first Since these are new fleas from the environment (home, yard, carpet, bedding, etc.) that have since developed into adults and jumped on your dog, this gives them an advantage over older fleas. These stages usually run their course and disappear over time as the weeks go by. You can increase the speed of this process by vacuuming your carpets, washing your bedding and keeping your yard trimmed. Likewise, it is essential to treat every pet in the household for fleas to ensure they do not become infested. I lost my hair because of the Seresto collar
3/5

For the past two years, we have been using Seresto collars for our three dogs. I'm really happy with their performance. We decided to try Seresto collars for our cats since they have recently taken to hanging out in our gardens, which makes sense since they were indoor Although there were mixed reviews, I figured it was worth a try. In my cats' case, too, the fur around their necks fell out soon after wearing the collars, leaving them with melted fur and numerous burns. A sore feels like that. A much older cat had a smaller reaction to the treatment than a one year old. The fact that it is white might make a difference, but the product will not be tried Be sure to check your cat's neck often if you decide to start using these! As a result, we were able to return the used collars and issue.

It is common for cats to have allergic reactions
3/5

Purchasing these for my cats was a great idea. When one of my cats was having digestive problems with diarrhea and trouble eating (and he is extremely fat, so usually it isn't an issue), he was unable to walk right. As well as buying some for me, my mom bought some for her two cats and dog. The only cat with a bad reaction was the black cat Her seizures were causing her to not eat. It's just that I feel like this is a lot of money to spend on something just to see that your cat can't wear it because of allergies.

THE UPDATED PAGE I removed it from cats on the advice of the vet
3/5

It doesn't seem to work as well as it used to. Update Our cat has lost all his fur around where the collar is, so at the vet's advice, we have removed the collars and are seeking assistance from the seller on a There was a tick on my body Those worked well in the past and we had a few of them. I feed them to both my cats since Friday, June 3 (5 days ago). Since it said it could take up to 24 hours to work, I gave it a few days after removing numerous ticks during the first few days of use. My daughter and her cat both sleep in the same bed where I have pulled multiple ticks today, one of which was so engorged that it fell off. I can't wait to see them in action!.

I am absolutely amazed by how well it works! Recently, I relocated to Georgia and I live in the middle of It's been a long time since I experienced fleas this bad and they were fiercer than ever
5/5

Then I tried EVERYTHING to get rid of fleas on my cat and in my house. I bathed her weekly with Dawn laundry detergent (she was young and it worked to kill fleas on her body) and used this soap to clean in my house too. I have used natural spray, other flea collars, flea bombs, the topical liquid, bathing my cat, flea spray all over the house, and others. I haven't been able to use any of the remedies for more than a few Cats have fleas and I was miserable when my cat came down with fleas. She got this collar, I gave her a final bath to get them off of her (did this because when I had put the flea liquid on her, they went crazy and she began to scratch so badly) Now it's been a couple months and My cat is free of fleas and I do not have fleas in my house. It's a bit pricier than other models, but I think it's worth it
Update In the middle of summer in Georgia, my cat has been wearing the collar for two months now. I have never been bitten by a flea. Really worth the price and DOES what it says on the tin.

We have had SERESTO work for us
5/5

The Seresto collars have been around for years, and I have used them with all six of my dogs as well as all five of my cats. Side effects or negative reactions have not occurred to me. It's great to get six months, but eight seems like a long time. Subscribing to two makes sure I get two a month, and by the time I have enough for all 11, I have While these tools do a good job of managing and preventing infestations, if you are already infested, you may need to take some extra measures to get rid of the infestation. As soon as it is under control, though, these have helped me to keep it there. Any negative experience that has been had is not intended to be a challenge. The only experience I have to share is mine, and so far it has always been positive as long as the collars are It is because I have dealt with counterfeit products several times that I can tell you that. There have been reports about counterfeit collars not only being ineffective, but actually causing negative reactions in some consumers. Unfortunately, the counterfeits did not work, so that was the worst result that I have seen. Some of the bogus collars can actually harm your pets, according to my research. In other words, before anything else, make sure you have a genuine collar before you give it to your pet. In addition to articles and YouTube videos, there are instruction videos available showing how to spot a repro If you use Serestor or are thinking about using it, I highly recommend doing your homework first. Although I won't begin to be comprehensive here, I will mention a few things to look for. br>br>A metallic sheen should be achieved on the paint inside the lid. There is more to this colour than what meets the eye. The top of the lid features raised, embossed letters that read Seresto. The lot number should match the number on the back of the canister and is printed in BLACK lettering on the collar of the container. The collar displays a purplish color if it is Purplish gray collars are faking, not genuine Seresto collars. This may be a serial or date code (e. g. The label will show the beginning date of 2017 instead of a manufacturing code (e. g. , 2001). The model number is LV1805) and the serial number is 8 digits. This is a poorly copied, photocopied document I put the paperwork in the can, folded. *Those are not guarantees of authenticity, and they are not things to check. If ANY of these things are wrong, then you have a fake. A scam can be successfully copied if ANY of these things are right. Animals should not be treated with this product. Here are multiple photos of a fake collar next to a real Seresto collar to show what I mean. Most of them have the fake on the left, while the real one is on the right -- except in the photo where they are stacked on top of each other. On the bottom, there is a fake. It can also be seen in the individual photos that the collar with the white lettering has been fabricated. Authenticity can be determined by matching the black lettering on the can with the lot number,.

I like it! As a result of all the negative reviews about neck sores developing on cats wearing these collars, then the cats getting sick and even dying, I was hesitant to purchase them for my cats
5/5

It was my fault. It has been 14 years since I got my cats. Due to my one cat living mostly outdoors, we had a flea infestation in the yard that quickly moved inside my house. So I bathed both cats, washed them, dried them, and put collars on them so they would be protected. Our garage was exterminated twice, the yard was exterminated twice, and our house was exterminated once. My next step was to sprinkle borax, baking soda, and salt on the whole house floor and throw pillow. The other cat was kept in an enclosed deck while the first was kept outdoors. After mixing the floor mixture, the floor was exposed to it for 48 hours. Within two weeks, all these things were completed. In the last two days, there has not been a single flea in my house but I'm guardedly pleased. In any case, things are looking better, the collars are slightly itchy for the cats and there has been no negative reaction to them, they have not been acting differently and one week after the collar went on the mostly outside cat had no fleas when brushing him. Another mostly inside was also equipped with a camera. My experience with the collars has been so far very positive. It is nice to see that my kitties don't scratch all the time. Be sure not to scratch! With the exception of a very rare scratch to my collar, I have not had any issues.
