It's very effective! I have two dogs and several cats, and as long as we use this (along with the flea medications we give the animals), we don't have a flea problem
4/5

The only disadvantage is the odor. I would strongly advise you to open your windows or do something else to help ventilate the space.

So the good news is that it appears to be effective; I'm not sure if we had fleas in the house or where they might have been, but even after a flea bath and flea medication, we still had a couple on our dog
4/5

Fleas were no longer a problem after I used this product on our couches and even our mattress. The good news is that it appears to be effective. br>br>The disadvantage, at least for me, was that it was messy and difficult to use. A few sprinkles here and there, and you're done, I reasoned. I didn't realize how complicated this stuff was, and I probably should have. When using, make sure you're in a well-ventilated area. Towards the end of the process, my head began to hurt. And it's difficult to distribute evenly, so it ends up all over the place. So expect a lot of vacuuming and cleaning after using this product. br>br>However, it appears to have worked in our house.

It's helpful, but it has a strong odor
3/5

I bought this to control the flea population in our house, which seems to be drawn to the cat despite her being indoors- only. This apartment, for some reason, has a flea problem, despite the fact that I've lived in other apartments and never had a flea problem. br>br>I'm not sure how bad our infestation is on a scale of things; they were nipping at our ankles, but there weren't a lot of them; just a few seemed to be enough, and the population seemed to be growing. br>After putting some powder in the vacuum bag, I vacuumed normally. Advantage was placed on the cat, and this was placed on the carpet. I left it for as long as I could, most of the day (I had to leave the house for other reasons), but doing it for 24 hours is completely unrealistic- When this goes down, I don't think you want to be in the house. It couldn't be used in some places because it was impossible to move all of the furniture off the floor. br>It has a very strong odor, which will bother people who are sensitive to strong smells. It's like an overly sweet potpourri. After you've completed it, you'll need to ventilate the area. While putting it down, I work a mask over my face to prevent it from poofing into the air and creating a haze, as well as a thin layer of white powder on everything in the room, which I didn't want to breathe in. I quarantined the cat in one of the rooms and did not treat her until the next day, when I was able to reintroduce her to the rest of the house. br>br>The flea population appeared to be decreasing, with fewer appearing on us and much less on the cat, but it was not completely gone. I set out a flea trap, which continued to catch some fleas. So I'm not sure I can blame the product for not completely killing everything, given how difficult it appears to be to use to its full potential. br>br>I believe that reading up on fleas on wikipedia can be beneficial. They have certain behaviors that can be controlled by simply vacuuming. They usually lay eggs in areas where your pet frequents, and when the eggs hatch, they return to a host. It's not like you've got eggs all over the place. They are also unable to survive on human food. Apart from the increased scratching, I can tell my cat has fleas because she is changing her preferred laying areas a lot more and prefers places that are higher off the carpet. She also chooses tile floors on occasion, which is unusual in and of itself. br>br>In the future, I might experiment with diatomaceous earth, which is less toxic and kills them by drying them out. br>br>Even though our three-bedroom apartment isn't particularly large, one canister sufficed. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I purchased two cans and treated the carpet again a few weeks later because the flea population had increased (we had only been vacuuming regularly since the first treatment). After that, there seemed to be fewer of them, and the ones I did see seemed sickly, but the next day, I still had several jump on my ankles. Next time, I'm going to try a different brand to see if I can find something that works better.

Always the best, in any and all non-competitive situations
4/5

pet- Use insecticides to get rid of the fleas. Always the best, in any and all non-competitive situations. pet- The results of using this powder in conjunction with the carpet/upholstery spray range from one or two fleas to an entire infestation. The only thing I'd change is the intensity of the smell. It has a strong, chemical fruity aroma. It has a loopy odor to it. It goes away in about two days, but if you're sensitive to smells, you shouldn't put it down. I'm not sure what the spray smells like on its own.

I had some fleas a while back, but they were gone after a while
5/5

My dog brought some fleas home, so I weighed my options. I decided on a once-a-year treatment of this, which I followed exactly as directed, and the fleas were gone. Because I was concerned about other reviews, I kept my pet out of the house while it was being applied and will not bring them back in until it has been vacumed up. This stuff works, but keep your beloved bet away from it after you've used it.

It's fantastic! It's a powerful weapon
5/5

It's fantastic! It has a strong, acrid odor, but it's a great buy because of its effectiveness and the large container, which allowed me to treat multiple carpets and furniture upholstery.

I was let down
3/5

I received the wrong item twice, but it was at least the correct brand name, so I gave it two stars.

Excellent outcomes
5/5

I moved and got a flea infestation, and it was the first time in decades that I died from fleas. I tried all natural remedies for two weeks, but I was still infested. We had a cure after using the (Zodiac) shampoo, carpet/ upholstery powder, and furniture spray all at once, then repeating the carpet/ upholstery powder, and furniture spray two days later. There have been no issues for the past two months.
