My decision to obtain it was based on reading that it is very important for cats to eat with their heads at an ergonomic position. Food that is wet is in one bowl and food that is dry in another. As soon as the new set arrived, my cats began using them instead of the old raised bowls that they had been using. It would have been nice if I had purchased it I like the way it looks. The only suitable pet is a cat or a small dog.

I'm happy with how things have turned out thus far! It was not until I moved into my new apartment that I used these, and Tia really seemed to like Her previous bowls were elevated because I read that eating with their heads up is healthier for cats. She has a separate water bowl which she lays down to drink. My biggest complaint is how easily the rubber sling around the bottom of her bowls comes off when I'm cleaning them. Other than that, I really like them. I would prefer it if it was attached to the base or bowl itself. Their height is a little too short for me.

This bowl is a great upgrade from low quality stainless steel insert bowls, and I appreciate the height options. The only thing I would change is the amount of space between each bowl, since my two cats have to sit beside each other side by side to consume their food. In my house, I have a separate water bowl for them to drink from next to this stand. If you use this stand for the food and water of one cat, then it should be okay, but I highly recommend a separate water fountain because the bowls do not hold that much water. With the tilt option set, this is just enough for my two cats to eat their dry food in 1/2 cup portions daily.

I was so impressed at how simple this was This wood piece is held together by a rubber band, which makes it more durable. My cat eats from them without flinching, and they stay put while I'm watching. Beautiful packaging and easy assembly made assembling the FUKUMARU Elevated Cat Ceramic Bowls a breeze. Keeping the bowls clean is very easy - they are of well-made material. The rings that prevent the bowls from moving are not firmly attached when the bowls are handled. This problem has been reported by other reviews. The tilted bowl doesn't hold a lot of water, but Casey likes his water fresh all day, so I don't worry about it. One of the rings fits better than the other, but both come off every time I remove or insert the bowls in the stand. The bowls sit above the stand which is good because there is no mess around them and the bowls are at the proper height as opposed to It would be nice if there were more space between each bowl. Wet food is Casey's preference - I replace his dry food bowl with a similar bowl and give him wet food - for breakfast. Preparing materials for his dry food bowl and water bowl are also washed and filled while Casey eats wet food. It doesn't bother him at all that I have to move my hands and arms while he eats, but the rubber rings fall under the stand.

I told the seller about my concerns, and after seeing my comments he corrected the dimension in the picture for better accuracy. Fortunately, I alerted them to the error and they thanked me for catching it. However, I am unable to speak to the durability of this product because I cannot speak to its quality. The best choice would probably be for a pet that is very small. It's just right for my cat to have a 5" front height with the bowl angled if it's on the tall side.
