Certainly, the dish could serve as a water bowl. I am not sure if this would be the best choice In my kitchen, I use the large one to store dry food and the small one to store There's a porcelain fountain in my house that I use Whenever I fill the bubbler, my cat drinks from it!
Thank you for your kind words. Hi Gabby, if this is the large raised cat bowl, it can easily accommodate a small can of cat food, but there is still room for more. A little more than a cup of crunchies. This product is easily cleaned.
Having the small bowl raised made a huge difference to my kitten (especially when he had to wear a cone after his neuter).
On the underside it says designed in Japan, and I guess it says Made in Japan on the underside, but no "Made in Japan" It is not a book that I can read. There is a D- on the form My company Culture Co. found a manufacturing facility in Matsudo Japan by searching for that on the web. (I promise I am not associated with the company, I just adore their products!) if you are looking for Made in USA dishes, Classy Cat/Dog Dishes has just added a line. The price is higher, but they are good.

These are the perfect size for my cat. I don't have a problem with the size. I am *o*.
The raised food and water bowls were pretty exciting to me to use, but after using it for about three and a half months, it gave one of my cats (not both at the same time, for whatever reason) lip sores, known as rodent She suggested a stainless steel bowl after I went to the vet. The sores on my cat have completely disappeared three weeks after I purchased the product and didn't make any other changes to her life. My only regret is not returning it since it was past the return window therefore, I gave it to a friend since perhaps their cat isn't I had never used stainless steel bowls before. I was always using bowls I had lying around from Target or Crate and Barrel and meant for humans. It isn't clear to me why this bowl gave my cat an allergic reaction, but I thought it was important to share.
The biggest concern I had when ordering these was that they would arrive in one piece or pieces. There's nothing to worry about. Despite the heavy packing, the bowls traveled safely. They were shipped in heavy boxes and shaped styrofoam they could have been kicked all the way from China, their point of origin. Despite their attractiveness, the bowls are also presumably better for a cat's mouth, as they make it easier for it to reach Cats do occasionally vomit, which is a normal occurrence. Therefore, I got these to ease their discomfort. They should work well, but we'll have to wait and see. As far as they are concerned, they claim they are porcelain, a term so generic it has lost much of its No matter how you slice it, these are heavy and highly glazed, and with a wide base, even the most voracious cat won't topple them. ***Tip *** It is available in 4 sizes, so get the large size. A cat of average size would not enjoy a catnip that is smaller than 5" in diameter. Here's a tip If you are not going to refill them for 24 hours, you could leave them out near the old feeding dishes for your cat to get used Generally, these were better than I You should handle them with care since they are heavy and well finished, but an accidental fall on hard flooring will certainly result in injury.
In addition to the elevated dish bowls (shown in the photo), I purchased the more expensive elevated dish bowls from another company. As a parent, I find the Cat1st Raised food bowl to be the better overall option for my kittens because of the cost-effective price. My kittens do not necessarily need the extra height that other pricier elevated cat bowls (and nicer quality) provide. Maybe you would be better off purchasing the set from the other company if you needed the height. My purchase was a success and I even purchased a small elevated treat bowl to keep them in my house.
Besides being a long-range thinker, he also has He is named after the Latin word meaning "long-limbed" He is called "the long-legged one" in Hawaiian (Kiowea) - so he reaches further down than most cats do. We've had this bowl for 2 weeks now and he doesn't seem to have any post-prandial issues with it. As well as just behaving more comfortably, he appears to eat better. Since he has longer legs than most cats, we still put a piece of wood beneath the Necoichi bowl to give him enough height so he doesn't have to stoop, but that isn't a necessary measure Our only reason for deducting one star on this review is the fact that we believe it is not designed for use with I would give it a 5 star rating as a dry food bowl. However, it only works with dry food because the subtle lip design is only visible when the food is dry. Even with the cat pushing away food with his tongue, wet food usually finds its way over the far lip as he eats. Whether we push it back in place or keep rotating the bowl as he eats, we have to do one of two things. Necoichi could design a special bowl with a small angle on the lid so that as the cat eats and the tongue pulls away from the food, the food would slide back into the bowl. He loves his new bowl, and so does Kio! The bowl is both attractive and functional, which made us feel compelled to get one for his health and comfort. Also, it is a winner on the design front! In addition, if Necoichi ever releases his own tilted model, it would be another great hit In addition, we will look into the possibility of a bowl to hold wet foods.
Because I wasn't sure what size to get, I opted for the large size. If you're only feeding wet food, the smaller size should be okay, but if you like to leave out dry food, then the larger size is probably best for you. Here's a photo showing a 12" car to give you an idea of its size. It was eaten by a huge pound cat. This lid has a nice, substantial weight so it won't slide on tiles. It also has a curved lip so spillage is less likely. And finally, it can be washed in the dishwasher. My opinion is that there is not a single negative to it. Overall, I am very satisfied.
In trying to decide which size to get for my 8lb cat, I debated between the large and a slightly smaller one. Five ounces per day) because of this. The rest of the time, she does not like to drink water. Nevertheless, it is simplest for you to use the large bowl, saving you some time. Obviously, the height is ideal and could hold a lot of food if required. It was easy for our cat to adjust, and the bowl is of good quality. You need to be careful to not drop the bowl while cleaning It is also common for my cat to eat too quickly and then vomit out the food a few minutes later. I think bowl height matters. I'm too quick to say what it is. As of yet, she has not puked. I'd update if I found any other problems. Anyway, this is a bit more expensive than a cheap bowl, but I think it's an investment.
