Relocating is on the horizon for me. As a child, I took 3 cats on airline Jet Blue. However, they were considerably smaller during that trip. During that time, I could not find a carrier that would comply with Jet Blue's requirements, so I had to pay $50 for these services. Now I have 18 pounds for my biggest cat, which is several years later. All the room on the Jet Blue aircraft was taken up by him. Here's the deal. My order for this item has been placed. I am amazed! It was the first time I took my 14 pound cat on a flight. My window seat was not able to fit the carrier in the direction that I had expected due to the area underneath the seat in front of me. Under the seat, I had to slide my cat's head under her butt so that it faced Although it worked, I'm glad I tried it. She stretched out her arms to the fullest extent when I opened the pop-out door. There were some parts of the side panel that could be opened. Also from Amazon, I purchased a small fan powered by a lithium battery. While I had it on top of the carrier, I had it on my hands (See pics) I definitely felt it helped circulate the air and kept her cool. The winner is! As far as I know, this is the only carrier with popout trays that is 9 inches high, which is the height requirement most airlines have. The popout trays also feature zippers, so I believe it will be easy to access your pet. Under the seat, you'll be able to reach only 9 inches, and if I had been in an aisle seat, the carrier would have been able to reach in the direction I would have chosen. A recent update Having an 18-pound cat did not cause any problems for me on my January trip. My pocket expands so I am so glad to have it. It was once again the small lithium fan that saved the day. It got to the point where We will be traveling with a 13 pound cat in the near future.

However, we have struggled to locate one that will meet all the airline's (Delta) size requirements. We had one of these, which was nine inches high. Amazon lists a lot of carriers that are "airlines approved," some of which are actually not (check with your airline about the specific requirements for the type of aircraft you will be traveling A tiny dog carrier for toy breeds would not have fit our dog, and the largest available was too big for a Stress caused us a lot of stress and I think this bag has helped. I like how well designed it is it is also well made We can expand it to give our puppy plenty of room. This is a highly recommended title!.

The Alaska Airlines media pet carrier I was looking for weeks had to have a medium sized opening. 10 is the most common number for medium carriers. It was 5 inches high, and I needed to make it 9 inches high. The height of this sign is five inches. It was a joy for me to discover your carrier at a height of 9 inches and a physical size of 17 inches long and 11 inches wide. In addition to having the correct dimensions, you also had 4 sides that could be opened for extra room for the cat. The design is fantastic. My cat was flown internationally using this product, and it worked flawlessly! While I hadn't realized it when I bought it, there is a luggage strap to attach to a roller bag. I loved that I could unzip the side tents to give Cat some extra space on the plane because it made it easy to roll through huge airports, and fast. Cat didn't escape, and I loved that I could put the straps around her neck for support. Thus far, I've only used it for one trip, so it's hard for me to comment on its durability. For the first time we used the tent with an animal, we had to unzip the zippers and zip them back up again. You should fit under the seat sideways on a Lufthansa international flight just in case anyone is checking which way is up.

Overall, this is a really amazing carrier, perfect!.

The carrier in the cabin meets Alaska Airlines' requirements for a carrier in the cabin. We were able to travel with our Yorkie, who weighed 9 pounds comfortably in it. Under an airplane seat, it is small, but after you are in the air you can extend the sides of the carrier for an added amount of space once you are in the air.

It is literally the only carry on kennel accepted by military and AMC During our move to Japan, flight attendants had to get out a tape measure to "verify my accuracy" before boarding. Having this tool saved us from having to deal with it all. I was extremely impressed with the ability for all four sides of the kennel to pop out. This was needed because of the long duration of the flights. This mat is excellent, it is very soft on the inside (plus, you can zip it up for easy cleaning), and it can fold up to resemble almost nothing when not in use. (PS. Our Dalmatian is a legal ESA for my husband's PTSD that agree with the use of illegal service animals or fake ESAs in order to allow pets to fly with their owners.

In a nutshell, The 16-year-old in my family bought this item for herself. Approximately 5 pounds JetBlue and Alaska airlines will permit me to travel with my 17lb Boston terrier in a cabin. If it had its smallest capacity (all expandable parts zipped), I definitely wouldn't use it for a dog any larger than her! In terms of getting this for your pet, you will want to make sure they can fit comfortably in this and can also turn around within its compacted shape since that is what airlines will look Her ability to enter from the front then turn herself around is indeed impressive, though she is pushing it. I only have one complaint, however, and that is the tether. My dog loves smaller, more contained "dens," so this works for her. However, a more panicked dog of similar size would probably not have a great time. Choosing a clasp that's impossible to open/close is the worst possible choice, and I certainly wouldn't want to be fumbling around with it in order to keep my dog secure before/after TSA. You can also! The zippers could have been distinguished more easily if something was done to distinguish them. There is a great chance you will accidentally pull the wrong zipper and instead of opening the thing completely, you will open the side. Since there are sometimes three bags per box, it might have been nice if there was a different colored tag on the boxes that expand There are four zippers close to each other that all look identical, but only one of them won't let your dog out. Of course I can get colored string from the store and do this at home, but it would have been nice if it had been included from the beginning. In addition to that, I think it is a pretty decent bag in terms of its general look. The extra space I can give her on the plane will allow her to stretch out and roll around more freely, regardless of which side of the plane is mine. You can find one that fits even the smallest dimension on airlines, so there is no need to worry. I'll update after she flies in it for the first time!.
