Questions & Answers

Is there a cat like the one in the picture included?

It doesn't work like that at all. The cat, on the other hand, is very cute. You will be responsible for providing your own cat.

I have a 17-pound cat and would like to know how much weight it can support. ?

If used as a suit case with handles, as I might for a business trip, 17 is a lot for this unit. With my 15 cat, I wouldn't hesitate to carry two at a time if necessary, with one hand on the bottom most of the time, as I'd recommend for your 17. Your cat won't break it and fall out, but it could become a well ventilated 'nylon sack' with handles if overloaded, at worst, it appears to be tough lite fabric. STORAGE AS SMALL AS POSSIBLE- crucial!

One of my cats is around 17 pounds. My fear is that when I try to lift it, the bottom will not stay flat and buckle. Do you have any ideas or personal experiences to share?

There isn't a 17-pounder in our house. We are unable to do so due to the presence of the cat. However, we have a 12-pounder on our hands. The cat performed admirably, and it is said to be capable of supporting up to 20 pounds of weight. , as stated by the manufacturer.

The zipper appears to only open halfway. Is it simple to get a cat in or out of your house? Are there any other positions available?

The zipper opens 180 degrees all the way up. It's very simple to get a cat in and out of this cage. It's a fantastic size, much larger than I expected. It's easy to store because it's light. I've never had a better carrier. I strongly strongly strongly strongly strongly strongly strongly

It's time to hit the highway! I ordered this because I had to travel 19 hours by car with my two beloved cats, who despise being confined and inside a vehicle
5/5

They were, however, amazing! br>It's super roomy, and they comfortably used the portable little box. br>The ride ended up being a bit longer than planned, at 28 LONG hours, but I was more fussy than my cats, long story short. (Though I did have to adjust the box a few times due to its soft material)br>I wouldn't use this product for regular trips to the vet, as it's large and easily collapsible, making it better for distance than using as a carrier by foot. It completed my task! br>br>.

Long trips with cats are a breeze with this option
5/5

For a two-year period, we bought two Necoici cages for our cats. cross-day Our cats don't always get along, and they're both larger (12 and 13 pounds), so one cage wouldn't have sufficed for both of them. One cat quickly figured out how to open the zipper, but this was easily remedied by placing the zipper pulls in a corner out of reach. Despite the fact that both cats are quite large and the included litter boxes are significantly smaller than what they normally use, neither cat had any problems using them. br>br>When we stopped for the night at a hotel, we had no trouble transporting the cats in their cages to the hotel room. At the top of the bag are two handles. br>br>Our long drive was a lot more relaxing - for the sake of ourselves and the cats - because each of them had a large cage with litter, food, and water.

This is an absolute lifesaver! This is an absolute lifesaver! We recently relocated across the Pacific, and our cat spent over 30 hours in transit in total
5/5

Automobiles, airplanes, and airports are some of the most common modes of transportation. This litter box worked like a charm - During a 7-hour layover in Amsterdam, we used it in the plane's lavatory and at a quiet, empty terminal. It was enough for us to carry the sand in two small zip lock bags. I don't know how we would have done it without it, and I owe the inventors a huge debt of gratitude.

A good carrier that is both light and strong - Stronger mesh is required
4/5

It's pleasant to the touch, light, and powerful. In April, my 'found' cat gave birth to kittens, and I needed a better way to transport them to the veterinarian for shots and other procedures. The mom is a small cat, practically a kitten herself, but she managed to bite a small hole in the door mesh while trying to get out, which of course turned into a larger hole (which I 'darned' right up), not big enough to let them out, but big enough to make them poke their heads through during trips and waiting room antics. The three-panel mesh is good because it allows them to look out while still feeling safe and not 'trapped. 'br>br>The mother weighs 7 pounds, and the kittens are now up to 3 pounds, so there's no need to be concerned. Mom's brother/cousin was also taken to the vet in the carrier, and he weighs around 10 pounds (a little less now that he's been fixed lol). I'm not sure what the weight limit is (20?). ), but it has a powerful feeling to it. If you're a squeamish person, you might want to skip this. The first time I took the mom and two kittens to the vet for shots and a checkup, I packed them all in this (it's pretty big/roomy), and one kitten barfed, peed, and left a present. Mom kitty was understandably upset, but they all made it through. The vet provided towels, which I was able to clean sufficiently (I now take puppy training pads and place them inside the carrier, but there has been no need thus far). When I got home, I unzipped it and thoroughly hosed it down, then tossed it into my Samsung washer with the STEAM option turned on and pre-washed it. This came out clean and happy after 2 hours of washing, extra rinsing, extra dirty, and low spinning. I dried it on the fence in the sun, and it's still as good as new! Try it with your cat prisons made of hardshell! br>br>Everything has been fine after the first trip's nervous stomachs. br>br>It unzips all the way, so if your kitty is hesitant to come out, you can simply zip away and there is no longer a carrier! The kitties enjoy playing in and around it, so I keep it in the mudroom until they are all grown up, where they jump and occasionally sleep. They occasionally unzip it on their own, leaving me with a flat carrier when I wake up. br>br>I know it's supposed to twist and fold for storage, but I've never tried it.

What a fantastic product! Thanks to think carrier, my two cats traveled from Seattle to the San Francisco Bay Area more comfortably than any other cats I've driven with
5/5

They are large kittens (each weighing over 13 pounds), so there was plenty of space for them. Seat belts were installed on the carrier, which made me feel much more secure about their safety. Our boy cat, despite his best efforts, was unable to break through the mesh covering when attempting to determine what the carrier was and why he was trapped inside it. In my opinion, it's a good product, and we'll continue to use it for grooming/vet visits, etc.

When traveling with a cat, this is a must-have! Purchased to travel with cat across the country, but only needed to drive to LA (about 3-hour drive)
5/5

4 hours). Setting up the carrier is a breeze. It springs back into shape as soon as you open it! It uses seatbelts to secure itself in the car and takes up nearly the entire backseat. The addition of a foldable litter box and a travel bag was useful. Kitty had no trouble using the litter box (in fact, she slept in it before it was completely full of litter). ) I wouldn't recommend taking the cat out of the car in this carrier because it's quite large and soft (rather than rigid). When we arrived at the hotel, I sat in the backseat and transferred the cat to a smaller carrier to transport her inside. The cat seemed unconcerned about the journey. . . . She spent the majority of her time sleeping and had plenty of space to spread out. To give you an idea of how big it is, I am 5'2 and I can get inside and zip it up completely. I was able to keep an eye on her through the mesh side of the carrier, and I left it unzipped for a while because she didn't try to escape. The carrier's bottom is made up of a pad with a waterproof side and a soft, cozy side. If necessary, it can be easily removed. I also included a Sherpa blanket for her to curl up on inside. I bought the carrier a few weeks before our trip and left it out and open for her to get used to it. By the time we were ready to travel, she was comfortable with it. If you're traveling with a cat, even over short distances, this carrier is well worth the money for your sanity and that of your cat.
