Specifically, I purchased this carrier to pick up the puppy I got from the breeder last week who weighed 9lbs and 8 weeks. Flying from Arizona to TX with American Airlines was my first flight of the day. I could fit it under my seat with no problem. It was snug with the puppy out of the carrier while I sat in a window seat. The aisle seat or even the middle seat would be best for you. I think this is an awesome soft sided carrier, especially for the price!.

The issue of transportation in case of an emergency had become a concern to me. As a result of extensive research, I have decided on your carrier and, along with Molly and Max, I am absolutely delighted with it. It has become a fixture by the fireplace along with the baskets they love to curl up in since I received it 2 weeks ago. It's really amazing how much they like to nap in their carriers! A few days ago, Molly, who has a vet visit every six weeks and hates it, traveled quite well in her new carrier. Though still not in a great mood after her vet visit, she did at least get to be in her favorite carrier. The quality is excellent, and the design is perfect.

In my opinion, the construction is fairly good, and the mesh panels kept my kitten from getting nervous in the carrier (like she had previously in a The fact that it folds down in an easy to store manner makes it a great choice. In addition to the optional shoulder strap, I like the design. I would change one thing, if I could, and that would be to have a Velcro strap that holds the two handles together, and to add padding so that the straps are more comfortable when you have to hold it for long periods of time. Other than that, it's nice. In particular, the cost is very reasonable.
