There's nothing more adorable than having this perch for my cat, Landis (13 lbs). All photos were taken on day one of using the device. When I call him from the screened patio, he usually runs away. Last night however, he came running when I called him and jumped right up to the perch you can see today. Unless you want to fasten the bed to a wooden sill, there were no tools required to assemble it. It holds in place perfectly with the adhesive strips on the bottom of the shelf because my windowsills are marble. We love the cushion cover because it's so soft and nice, and since the white color hides fur nicely, there is no need to brush it daily. I would take this over any other perch for its high quality, especially for its price.
This mount is much loved by the kitties. It took them no time at all to become accustomed to how soft it is, how thick the pad is, and how comfortable it is. I have even tried it on a 20-year-old Jumping on a big cat that weighs more than 100 pounds is not a problem. It took me less than ten minutes to put it together. It would be great if my house had one for every tall window!.
As my cat jumps up, he scratched the sills on the windows. I have a larger cat that loves to sit in the windows. The new set of shoes has solved a few problems and is durable enough to hold up for He uses it every day because it's soft and cuddly for his aging bones and has no problem with it being completely level. However, due to an installer fault it may not be completely level. The only concern I have is that I am not sure if the glue from the velcro will come off of our sills when we remove it. It does not present a problem right now. It would be a good idea to purchase.
My cat does too. It's great not to have to drill holes into my window sill or use screws to mount it. It's thick and supportive and I find it very easy to use. She was already incredibly attached to her knitted blanket, so it was only logical for me to place I could have done without it because it was soft enough That is a wonderful item for my office decor. It looks modern and works well with what I already have.
You can fasten the cat shelf to the window sill with the screws that come with it if you have a wood window sill. In the last few days, my cat has acquired a taste for it, and now it is his favorite spot *The bedding is made of furry cover that can be easily washed, so when the fur becomes dirty it can be washed away It is easy to deal with an accident involving a ball on the bedding. Although I tried contacting the company to inquire whether additional covers are available, it has been over 2 months and they haven't responded, so I suspect they do not, which is unfortunate since the cat wouldn't want to use the bedding without the bedding on it while you are cleaning They include additional Velcro strips with it, so you can attach the shelf to glass surfaces that you don't want to screw into, but it is just standard Velcro, and will eventually stretch under the weight of your cat and the shelf with the continuous jumps the cat will do to reach Velcro is a highly recommended method for attaching it to a windowsill if you want to do this, because it is supposed to be used as an earthquake proofing system for electronic components. You'll have no problems using that stuff.
The perch is exceptionally sturdy, especially for my cat who likes to be fussy about sturdiness. I don't think my cat would be comfortable using it if it creaked even slightly. In addition, the system was SOOO easy to set up I am very happy to hear my baby is happy. 10) 10 out of 10.
It was extra important to make them stable because I have three cats and they are apt to sit two next to each other.
My one window cannot be used as a suction bed, but this one came out very loose, the legs ripped off the paint off my wall when it was hung, and the legs would not match the wall's angle, it was not a very secure purchase,.
