It was a cinch to assemble. I didn't even need to be told what to do. I also used the add-on kit to add a "branch" and more height. My cat adores this addition (it took him a day to figure out what it was, probably due to its height). It has a nifty cut out to make it easier to climb up on the platform, but my cat never approaches it from that side (not the brightest kitty) so he looks extremely awkward making his way up, but the branch add on saved him because I'm pretty sure he'd still be confused otherwise. br>br>I was looking for a cat tower that my toddler would not attempt to climb (no low branches or platforms) and that had a branch add on. He used to prefer scratching my furniture, but he's starting to prefer this post, which I like because it's easy to move around the house, which keeps things interesting for him. My only "gripe" is that I wish the suction cups could be extended a little further. We have a lot of molding and sills, so the tower barely has enough length to reach the glass while remaining stable, but it does for some of our windows. It needs to be tilted a little now and then to make it. I also wish I could rotate the platform so that the narrow side faces the window, as this would be more practical in some of the locations we considered. However, neither of these issues is enough for me to dock a star because my cat now spends the majority of his quiet time on this perch and has significantly reduced the amount of damage he has caused to my furniture. br>br>Another plus was that he adored the box it arrived in, haha!.

' BUGSY has reached the age of twenty-one. He's a chomper, but he also knows how to play tough with his equally large brother, 19. Picture old windows with weights in them as I put this together and attached it to the only window in the house without a radiator in front of it. I was frightened to death. I am not going to lie to you. They attacked the scratching post as if their lives depended on it as soon as it was up, and then had a cat MMA match on top of it. It held up well. br>br>Here's a suggestion you might want to consider. They suggested using a drop of olive oil to help the seal on my outside window suction bird feeder. This is something I did as well.

This is ideal for her at the highest level. When I close the curtains, she likes to use her claws at the base. The product's customer service was painless, and they replaced the two suction cups that were bent during the shopping experience. With one perfect suction cup and the other two half-working, it was able to withstand her banter. Given that the base is carpeted, I'd say it's fairly sturdy. I'm not sure how it would work with non-profits. The floors are carpeted. br>br>This is a good option for cats who enjoy climbing and want a good view from a window. For the sake of comparison, my cat weighs 12 pounds.

This was purchased for our new high-rise apartment. Kittens enjoy stretching and scratching the post, as well as relaxing in the window seat while watching the world go by.

I hesitated to buy it because it was a little pricey, but it was exactly what I needed, so I went ahead and bought it. The wood, suction cups, and cushion on top of the platform all exceeded my expectations. My cat is constantly scratching the posts, and I enjoy the fact that she has to climb them to get to the top. Before relaxing in front of the window, she did some exercise. While we haven't had any issues with the staples being visible on the posts, I can see them and hope that our cat stays away from them. That, I believe, is my only suggestion for improving this item. My other tip is to find and hide the cat nip as soon as possible after opening the box, because my cat ate the instructions for getting to the cat nip before I realized what had happened. Thankfully, it was simple to set up without the help of the instructions!.

My cat was attempting to scale every surface in the house - Shower doors, walls, and other surfaces, as well as sitting in the window, are all favorites. He can climb and have a perfect window seat thanks to this climber. In addition, we purchased an additional scratcher extender (also from Amazon) to make it even taller and better fit the height of the window it is placed next to.

I wouldn't pay more than $40 for this item if I used all three pieces of the scratching post, and if I took one out, it was too short. It's going back to you.
