Questions & Answers

What types of screws are involved? Are they just stick ons or do they have screws?

The clips are attached to the cat by screws, and Velcro tape is used to stick the cat on, but the tape will not stick if your cat is large. Two times, I saw mine fall off the window sill (and I'm sure it There's no need for it throw it away now.

The base is secured to the window sill by what? Does the sticky tape have two sides? Does it have the strength you need?

There are two ways to hold the base on the window ledge which make it easy to install. A Velcro wrap is attached to I chose the Velcro option for my window sills because I did not want to screw them into the sills. A side of the plate goes on the base, while the other goes on the There are also a few adjustments to be made on the bottom of the base (the legs snap into a grid). In this position, they rest directly under the base of the wall. The legs and base of the table are made of hard plastic. Velcro has caused no damage to the wall or window sill as a result of being used. now that I am a few months in, I have had to move the legs in closer to the wall, which means pulling the base of the legs off. As the base has started to deteriorate, I do not trust it to stand on its own anymore, and I won't keep my cat on it at any time. It is her favorite thing to lay on, and I do not want her to be scared of My solution was to stack a box between the seat of the chair and the bottom of the base by placing a chair under it. I don't find it attractive, but it holds up. The velcro not holding a second time is not an issue unique to that item. It would surely occur with any similar item that uses this method. My favorite thing about the base is its lightness. You can wash the fleece material that covers the hat, and it is an attractive Legs that can be adjusted are very useful. It is my hope that this has been helpful.

As soon as the cover is screwed into the sill, how do you attach it to the back of the bed? I don't want to return it if it doesn't have to be returned. ?

The way I am using it, I am just using velcro, but if you screw it into the sill, I assume you There is a cover that just slips over the edges so that you can wash it whenever you want. I'd say that it should be fine as long as you do not screw through the cover.

The Velcro strips are the only part that works? Due to our marble window sills, screwing it in place would not be an option. ?

Your cat's weight and activity level will influence how much food is needed. Velcro strips with large diameter kept falling down when I tried to hang this on wood sills. Perhaps sticking to marble will work better.

This is a great deal! I made a mistake, but do not make the same one
5/5

Having finally discovered this perch, Kitty has made it his main bed for the past few months. I like the way it looks and how sturdy it is, ***Here is some advice on how to install. My screwdriver was used to install the screws This method (as opposed to the self-existent Previously, I had chosen the adhesive Velcro option), and made an error. The upper plastic frame was placed flush against the window, it was screwed into the windowsill perfectly and securely, the legs were positioned perfectly, and I was ready to add the foam cover and cushion. couldn't put on the fleece cover, since there was no space between the plastic frame and the window to tuck in the cover on that side. I had to remove the fleece cover and reinstall it. Depending on the application, I had to push the installation forward 3/4 of an inch in order to apply the fleece cover to the whole area, and also re-install the combs and t-shirts You are now ready to place the "legs". Therefore, the moral of the story is Do not install the top frame (the part that holds the cushion) too close to the window side. *One more thing I assumed the legs were made of wood from Amazon's online image, but they were Ivory plastic is used for them. Also sewn into the cover of the fleece is a rubber logo tag for the company. I'm not too picky about that, but some people might be, so I wanted to bring it up.

I bought my cat the best thing I ever did for him! As I was working, my cat was always on top of my desk, watching the view outside
5/5

So, I bought this to keep her safe and keep her out of my way. This has changed her behavior because since we've purchased it, she stays off my desk. Besides peeking out the window, she enjoys taking naps on it. As you can see from the picture, this is what she usually uses it for spying out the window. )* Easy to assemble and came very quickly.

I have found the perfect vantage point
5/5

I have 3 cats, but I just moved from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom house, so I only had 2 cat perches mounted. As I have my cats watch the deer and other wildlife on the lake side of the house, I just purchased a third perch so they can see all the wildlife on the lake side of the I had to mount the perch 180 degrees out on the opposite edge of where the screw holes were due to the narrow window ledges on the apartment windows. Therefore, I glued them with E6000 to keep them from falling. Velcro wouldn't hold them in place, so I glued them with E6000. It supports their weight quite well and I can hang them properly at the new house using velcro (16 pounds). I sturdily mount the perch frame on the frame of the window and add duck tape to secure the perch. Thank you. I hope this helps you.

THANK YOU! GLAD TO HAVE COME UP WITH THIS! Just up today, I've got two of these! I'm so glad I put them up! Using velcro and two large Command Velcro strips, I put those strips on top of the velcro and it worked perfectly! There was no movement of the perch as the tiger cat in the images weighed 19 lbs

There is no question about it love is all you need!.

You can't screw it to the windowsill without screwing it to the wall
3/5

It was easy to snap the brackets into place. We had no trouble using the Velcro strips. It's a bummer, but that's all we have to report. Following the instructions to the letter, I actually barricaded the area around the perch so that my cats wouldn't get on it before the adhesive on the velcro strips I gave them the chance to try it the next day. a few hours, it fell to the ground. Again I attempted it, but the same result occurred. My intention was not to screw the perch into the window sill, but if you're willing to do that, that would be great. A strong velcro strip would be a safe alternative if velcro is not an option. In exchange for a refund, I returned it.

What makes Three Stars so special? A couple of nice perches for my cats on the window
3/5

The plastic is sturdy for its type. To attach the sill to the window, I used screws. We gave it three stars due to the smelly fleece cover and the foam padding. The cats left in seconds after smelling it. There is a horrible chemical smell coming from them. After washing three times and allowing it to air outdoors all day, I dried the fleece covers. In addition to washing the foam pads, I also washed them. There is still a smell in both of them! Replace them with my own covers, which I will make myself. What is the reason that manufacturers want all of these chemicals on these fabrics? To make something nice and charge a decent amount of money, they put time and effort into it- Is there a reason not to make products from materials that are not soaked in Since cats and dogs have much stronger senses of smell than we do, how can we possibly expect them to enjoy sleeping on such stuff? As a result of the smell, I complained for hours. And yet we wonder why animals and humans are sick with allergies, diseases, and the like? Chemists are creating health problems for all of us by releasing pesticides and chemicals into the environment. Could it be that we need to look into the origins of our ailments and diseases that affect our pets more closely. * I will keep these window perches because the frame is sturdy and easy to use, but I won't expect, nor want my cats to cozy up on the fleece and foam I hate it! The manufacturer should bear in mind that healthier fabrics exist.

I love it!
5/5

This window seat is a big hit with my cats! In our apartment, which we bought about 3 years ago, there was one. We bought more when we moved into a new house because it was amazing and the cats loved it so much! The cover comes off to wash when needed and it is easy to install (three screws into the window sill).

I believe the cost was worth it and the assembly/attachment only took a few minutes! This window seat is a big hit with my kitties! My ledge is only a couple inches deep, so it was super easy to assemble and attach (I screwed it into the wooden windowsill)
5/5

The only surprise I had with the legs was that they were The objects are actually metal instead of wood, as portrayed onscreen. my cats seem to have no trouble climbing this frame, as the legs don't appear to give when they're The patio is wide enough for both babies to sit together and watch the backyard TV, but I did buy two so that each baby will be able to lie down on their own. It didn't give much under my arm weight, and I forgot it was plastic as I began leaning on it while playing with them. You wouldn't want to lean too much on plastic like that. Make sure you keep a weight restriction in mind There is a 7-pound weight difference between my cats. These two pounds are about five and eight pounds, respectively The two of them separate their weight so that even when sitting together, they don't put In sum, I like it, and I am probably going to purchase another one for my living room window.
