I don't have this specific post, but I do have a number of scratchers and other items for my cats. If they're scratching your furniture, cover it with package tape for a while; when you remove it, make sure they don't see you, or they'll start scratching again. Because they dislike the tape, the plan is for them to forget about that area. As a result, they stopped visiting that location.

Probably. If your cat likes the solid, long vertical surfaces of a door frame, this is the next best thing, and the fact that it's covered in sisal should make it more appealing than a door frame. I'd buy this and keep a squirt bottle on hand if I had this problem. If he uses the post, compliment him; if he uses the door frame, squirt him.

This is something we ordered for our kitten to grow into as she grows older. It had only been a few days in our possession when it was towed. Our baby had been hit in the head. Blood was gushing from her nose as she was knocked out cold. She began gurgling and choking on her own blood before becoming completely still. We prayed, assuming she was dead, and flew to the nearest vet hospital an hour away when we saw a paw twitch. She was in and out of consciousness for the duration of the ride. She's been in the hospital for three days now. She still has a feeding tube because she is unable to swallow. We've already invested $2000, and I'm confident in her prospects. My children are traumatized and heartbroken, but the truth is that the adults are as well. Our little lady is the sweetest, gentlest person I've ever met. Please give this heavy post a wider base!.
Four years ago, I bought this tower. It has performed admirably, so I decided to order a second one for the second floor. I ordered a second one, and it lasted a month! The cloth has dislodged itself from its base and is now dangling! I'm baffled as to how two identical products can be so dissimilar.
This is an excellent scratch post that has virtually eliminated scratching on our couch. br>We'd had the post for about two years, and the top half of it was a little frayed. The fibers are coming out, and the burlap material has worn completely through in some places, as you can see in my first image. Rather than buying a new post (which I would gladly do), I decided to see if I could flip the post around so that the cats scratched the unused bottom part of the post, which I was able to do. br>br>To disassemble the base and top, you'll need 4 and 3 mm allen wrenches, as well as a phillips screw driver. After removing the post, I used 1/8th and 5/32 drill bits to drill new holes for the screws to go into, using the existing holes as a guide. br>br>After flipping the post upside down, I used scissors to trim off the loose fibers that were hanging loosely off the worn part of the post, and the post is almost like new again after two years of hard use by two cats. I'm hoping to use it for another two years before purchasing a replacement.

It's small, red, and doesn't appear to be very cozy. I strongly advise you to make your own. This is exactly what I did, and my cat adores it! I simply took a piece of wood (you can cut it to any size you want, mine is a nice square fit for her size), added some foam, and upholstered fabric on top! This is the way to go if you want to provide your cat with a scratching post as well as a nice little perch. Every day, my cat sleeps on the perch atop this. She enjoys scratching and lying on top of her post. I never expected her to enjoy it as much as her pricey trees, but she does. We also added a small toy to the post; there are a lot of things you can do to make this even better for your cat, but it's fine on its own! br>br>In conclusion, this is an excellent scratching post, and I am amazed at how inexpensive it is in comparison to others! If your cat won't stop scratching your furniture, this could be the solution! It completely resolved my problem. One last point - This post gets a lot of use from my cat, who uses it several times a day. It has lasted a long time and has never fallen over!.
