There's no way for me to tell what kind of string it is. The games are still being played by Conure, the person who bought it for me. My mother bought it for me a few months back. I can't examine the string because she is my daughter's bird. You know conures are very territorial, so I have to leave her alone. There is no denying that she loves
A lot of strength and sturdiness go into making this toy. It is a great choice for parrots and even monkeys. The toughness of this plant would be too great for a lovebird.
I have not seen any stains or blemishes on our yellow-naped amazon because he is green and mostly green. However, I have noticed if I touch the colored blocks with wet hands they bleed. There are lots of fun colorful things to play with with this toy. We are happy to see him enjoying it so much!

Over 30 years ago, my wife brought me an African Grey Parrot that she bought from Timneh. I owned a beautiful little chick named Socrates that would take masticated food out of my mouth when we were feeding. He loved me dearly! However, he (she) laid and egg, and we realized that we had a female even though he was supposed to be She began to express her love for my wife and become angry with me sometime around the second year of our marriage. After repeatedly being bitten by her as I reached into the cage to pet her, I stopped petting Although I tried, I was unable to get her to favor me as she had in the past. Her chest feathers began falling out soon after she started plucking them. Birds that are lonely and bored tend to do that, and fortunately the boredom only manifested itself on her chest. If you have ever visited a parrot sanctuary, then you know it isn't uncommon to find pretty much fully plucked birds. Their unusual behavior is often accompanied by other odd behaviors, which cause owners to surrender their bird The problem is either they didn't know what they were doing wrong, or they simply gave up trying to figure it As a result of her plucking problem, we switched her food to Lafeber Nutriberries in addition to fresh fruit and vegetables. As well as spraying her with water every day, we let her soak up some Vitamin D in the sun for 30 minutes. Her cage has a section of PVC pipe that she uses to nest in and every other day we fill it with an empty box to let her tear it apart. Her favorite time is at night when we take her out so she can sit on a perch and stare at me while I'm sleeping. There haven't been any toys that she likes since she was a toddler. When we take them out and secure them to her nightstand, most of them sit unattended in a corner of her cage until we take them out and fasten them. An appropriate perch for the time. In light of this, we expected that she would reject this SunGrow Chewing Toy and simply watched to see if she would like it. It took her two days to get to it but now she spends a good deal of time analyzing it. I could see her finding this a winner, and for $11, it can't be beat. It's a winner for us at 95. A finicky parrot would like to have this type of food.
The African grey dog I keep in my home is 21 years old and he loves to break or disassemble every toy that I place in it. The knots on this chew toy are especially fun for him to work on, and even the rope and blocks don't break him absolutely after 48 hours. It is one of the few toys I have given him that he doesn't destroy completely within 48 hours. The reason I ordered several is so that when he does succeed in destroying the one in his home, I can replace it with an extra. I think that the product is solid, it is strong, and my bird seems to enjoy using it.
I've never seen her go after a toy with the same intensity as she does this one, so after she destroys this one I'll get her another! The hanging has been going on for about a week, and although she has used most of it to decorate the bottom of her cage, there is still a lot of life to I was surprised at how large it was, and at $13, it's a great deal. I also appreciate the fact that it comes with a clip for hanging. This toy is on my list of favorite toys (and she is too!)!.
I was a bit worried that the wood would be too thick for our Senegal after reading some of the reviews. Upon receiving it, I was even more nervous than before, but it was all for not. It's no problem for Sweetly to get her beak in it and eat it bit by bit. Although it appears indestructible, the Senegal wood does not give way readily to stress. There is still some work she needs to do before we order a second one for her. She has worked on it for weeks now. You won't be sorry if you made this choice.
The toys are a big hit with him. There is no color of wooden block that can survive in the presence of He. The price is an average and the item is a prime item. Ordering was easy, so that was great. I'll have to buy more at a later date. It won't last long since it won't last I'm very happy with this.
This is a very well made and colorful item. I wasn't expecting it to be so large. The green light is on for me It's a little big for him, the cheeked conure I will, however, put it online and wait to see how it works. This is a very nice.
Other bird toys I have purchased off of Amazon have had some issues with size, as some stores show large birds playing with the toy, yet when I receive the toy it is nowhere near the size it appears to be next to the photoshopped image of a large bird. Unlike the previous one, this one was not an exception. I am pleased with the quality, and it was exactly what I expected. I haven't seen my bird play with it much yet, but I am sure It would be wise to.
One of these units might cost about $30 at the pet store and I can't bring myself to do it. I believe this is a good chew toy. It's bright, colorful, and a ton of fun. A pair and a pair of greys were purchased for me. The toys are large enough that they don't destroy their new plaything in a matter of hours. You need to chew lots and lots. The price is competitive so I will definitely order again if it remains that way.
