Questions & Answers

What do you think of the small 7" ?

Whenever I get these, I give them to my conure. Her love for them is undeniable. There is no way to hang them for a long time. No matter what size I get her, the initial thing she does is chew through the rope it hangs from. She poopses on it or tears it up and I leave it on the bottom of her cage until she stops doing that. As before, she likes the small ones best. They don't last long, but when I give them to her, she's like a puppy with a new toy.

Do you think this would be good for rabbits?

When we discussed these with our vet, she said they would be fine for a rabbit, so we bought several for her. It is only a shame that, despite how much she loves them, she destroys them fairly quickly!

What is the country of origin of this item?

They are not made in the United States, I think they come from you should not let the origin of the bird toys sway your choice. Having Planet Pleasures as a high-quality game has been a delight The toys are made of quality materials and remain a quality product for many years. There are other toys "made in the USA", but are not comparable in quality and safety. Making sure it is made by a reputable manufacturer is more important than where it's

A "medium 10" would be an ideal size for parakeets, would it not?

The amount of chewing depends on the kind of keet and its preferences. Four of my birds are in a cage and three of them like to chew things that my larger birds (Senegal, Eclectus, Conures, Amazons) will not When my other birds wouldn't chew it, I thought this would be too big for my bird and so I gave it to my Cockatoo, and it quickly devoured the first piece. It was a big hit with the parakeets. In addition to my flight cage, I have a large car. Remember to pull up the strings in the hanging section otherwise it may be too long to fit in most smaller cages for parakeets.

I am 10 inches tall when he says that

The toy looks like fun and it looks sturdy, but someone likes to exaggerate what ten inches means. Item to note My hands are about the size of average for a girl my age.

I consider this product to be a family essential
5/5

A roll of toilet paper is my bird's second favorite toy (just behind this toy). Keeping a stock of these at home is important to me. The pinata in the cage makes him happier and more playful when it isn't available. In addition to This pinata is larger than my goffin cockatoo and he will spend a solid 3 hours tearing it apart before giving up, with the pinata (while not as good as it used to be) still holding on for another round. I rotate in a new toy every week but my bird stays occupied with this one for about a month (he also plays with other toys but this one is always there). Despite ripping all the colored strips off, he likes to rub under his wing with the rope, after ripping all the colored strips off. These are great for a couch if you're on a budget I like to play with my feet during the day. He can play on the play tree in his living room with this medium. *I have nothing but praise for this product. It is a superior product in every sense. It's a good idea to get two of each size. My association with the seller is not official. It's a great product. And my bird (who is ripping into one as I type this) loves it, too.

An amusing toy that lasts more than 24 hours! This piata is a big hit with my African Gray! It was the only one that lasted a few days among all the toys I bought! As soon as Ruby saw it, she accepted it and has been chewing and foraging

A bird-friendly activity that keeps birds occupied for days
5/5

It is necessary for parrots to destroy things in order to be Plastic, a non-biodegradable material, is not sufficient to satisfy them Toys that are easily destroyed, they need to shred and chew all the It is a good idea to give them wood toys to chew on- In contrast, other toys such as this one fulfill their need to shred and destroy This has been a favorite treat of mine for years. My bird enjoys tearing them apart for hours. It keeps him occupied and content for several hours. Toys that are durable and strong will not satisfy your parrot's need for chewing activity if you are very new to parrot keeping. Buy toys that they can destroy if you are new to parrot keeping. Pi*ata because not only does it meet the shredding need, but it lasts for a lot longer than other shredding The process of becoming accustomed to them may take a few days, but they will provide a good deal of activity and are more durable.

I give these to my Senegal when we go to the beach! I love these a lot! The Senegals that I personally get from here are good for any medium sized parrot, though they would be great for other parrots too
5/5

Since they are woven, they are harder to break down and chew through than other shredding toys, meaning that your bird has to work and think to get them completely torn apart. The brains of the birds have to stay active.

For parakeets, this shredder is of good quality, lasts for a long time
5/5

It took a while for my parakeet to discover There is now a tear in her eye. The parakeet actually seems to be quite durable for its size. In the picture, you can see how the toy becomes shredded when the outer layer is torn off. There are still a lot of pieces hanging from the shreds. I like that. This is why I maintain that it is durable very few pieces have fallen to the cage floor. Two of my parakeets are frantically pursuing this toy. I have a flock of 14 birds. (I WAS GOING TO ORDER 2 OR 3 MORE FOR MY LARGE CAGE, BUT THE PRICE GOED UP ALMOST 50 PERCENT NOW? Amazon experiences this problem all of the time. Please read this review and let the seller know.

It is great for my African Grey - he enjoys it a lot A 17-inch measurement
5/5

This toy quickly became a favorite of my African Grey after he took one look at The two of them were inseparable within 5 minutes. This toy is a big hit with her. So be it. I have no idea why it was so appealing to her in the first place They will continue to be bought for her by me. Despite her age, she is active, healthy, happy and happy to be 32 next month. As a thank you for 32 years of fascinating happiness and cuddles, I can only give her my love. As long as she is happy with the toys I offer her, I will continue to do so.

Birds love it and it lasts for a long time
5/5

found this to be one of the best values I've ever purchased for birds. It's a bit hard for my Eclectus dog to get through toys fairly quickly, so I got the extra large. When she preens roughly, shredding toys makes more sense for her as a way to release Her interest was immediate when I was trying to hang it, and she immediately tore into It would be beneficial if you had your own quick link so that you could Since most bird owners have extra balls from past destroyed toys, I do not consider this a downside. She's been working on it for a few days, and judging by the mess in the bottom of the cage, she does seem to have Taking a close look at the toy, there are few signs of There must be many layers that pack this thing tight. Having a longer life than expected is a good thing. In the future I will definitely add another toy to the rotation for her when she's done with this one!.
