There is no way to tell. It was used for a pet parrot, he did not seem to be
There is a large Cockatoo I have that is smitten with this toy, of course it's a large one. As for the fear a bird may have from it being too big, I would consider your bird's personality. I had parakeets before, so I would like to chance the medium for your bird. I mean, if she or he is more on the calmer side, then A long time ago we had a pet African Grey who was terrified It was necessary to hang the toys out of the cage one at a time so he would become accustomed to them, then he was OK with them. My best wishes are with you.
If seeds are placed inside, it can provide nutritional value to the bird. The toy encourages the birds' natural instinct to forage. There is a need for stimulation in caged birds. As a species, they have a natural instinct Living in a tropical environment left its mark on me.
Having budgies of such a small size is ideal for me. In addition to its quality, it has lots of layers they can explore.

I think this is a really fun I love it, and so does my Jenday. My bird finds it endlessly fascinating because it has so many small pockets where it can hide its 'treasures. ' The installation is not made easier by the fact that it does not come with a carabiner or other means of attaching it to the cage. A trip to the hardware store is required. The inconvenience meant that I had to subtract 2 stars.
There must be a lot of space in the XL). As far as size goes, this item is about the size of my two green cheek conures, only a bit bigger. Even small birds might be able to get their beaks on it and enjoy shredding it since the pieces poking out of it are fairly thin. Considering its size, I agree that a larger medium bird, or even a huge parrot, could have some fun with it as well, though I'm certain This toy is made exceptionally well, as are most of the Planet Pleasures toys, and it seems to last for a very long time. It wasn't the least bit interesting to them for quite some time (and my scared elephant baby was terrified for a few days), but after being placed in the cage of one of my more rambunctious boys, it's finally getting used after spending months collecting dust. In spite of the fact that he obviously worked very hard to tear it up, he only managed to tear off a few pieces. All in all, this is a great and neat looking toy that most birds will take.
bought two of these about a year ago and I noticed that my parakeets and cockatiels liked it just fine, until I put one of them with our lovebird, who was having a rough time (she laid an egg without Shredders like this one were enjoyed by our lovebird. As soon as we saw our pineapple conure shredding, it wanted to join us! It's now necessary for me to buy more of them. Once the shredder is a smaller size, I can move it or adjust it without worrying about these two birds. The medium one lasts about 3 weeks after everyday use for hours at a time. There are a lot of colors in my orders, and I suspect the sizes will also be random. In my experience, my birds will be fine with small, medium, or large, and I have only ever bought medium but have had success with all three It is unknown why my birds prefer red and green colors the most? and yellow and pink ones the least. But you cannot choose your own.
He absolutely loved it! I have a little lovebird and he absolutely loves these. We can safely say that it has become one of his most used toys and favorite The next time I go shopping, I'll buy more. As you can see, he pretty much destroyed it on his own after a week and a half. This week's update My little bird loves this toy so much I bought it again but this time a smaller one.

I was not able to use it at all, it was too sharp and not well made for the price! While the points are a tad sharp, I still didn't like the fact that it was well made and sturdy. When he looked at it for the first time, my budgie nearly passed out. so scared of something, I thought it was funny and odd, but of course, I wasn't going to torture him so I had to throw it away. I wasn't even able to hang it in the cage because soon as he saw it inside he became angry.
I took out this adorable pineapple toy from the packaging, and my bird went to town with it right away. This is one of his favorite things. Toys like this are not made to last a long time, but I have no problem with the duration of the toy. Changing birds' toys is a must, and this is a cheap one to do so.
In the little pockets, I stuffed millet and other tasty treats, and she loves digging through them. I like that the coconut fiber is sturdy enough so it does not easily break apart. My green cheek conure loves chewing on it. The medium is the perfect size for her. I recommend it. *BIG UPDATE We have had the toy for about a week, and it has been pretty torn This toy surprised me with how much she liked it. Stuffing treats inside is a great way to use this toy. I stuff millet, nutriberry chunks, and safflower seeds into the crevices once per day, and she spends quite a bit of time chewing on the toy and looking for the treats she likes. There aren't enough words to describe how much I love it.
