My 15-year-old sun conure has experimented with every type of perch material available. Rope perches are my favorite. On the birds' feet, they're flexible and soft. Conyers are known for their chewing. That's exactly what they're capable of. It doesn't matter what they chew on, they'll eat it. I keep an eye on the Rope to make sure it doesn't fray too much because they chew on it. It's time to toss it if it begins to resemble a bush. Nothing has ever gotten stuck in the throat of my sun conure. These purchases, in my opinion, are a safe and sensible choice for a contented bird.
They should be in Chewy's possession.
It can be bent into any shape you want — there is wire inside the rope, so wire cutters may be required, but the rope will fray?

Within three days of being installed, the wire inside became a direct threat to my bird. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT AS THERE ARE OTHERS AVAILABLE THAT PROVIDE FLEXIBILITY WITHOUT THE THICK WIRE! My previous one was the JW Comfy Perch, which had no wires and lasted 9 months. I will reorder their product, as this is a knock-off. rip-off.
There was a little Pomeranian who found a poor little little hole through MILLIONS of tiny black ants on my gravel road in the United States. I don't have a clue what he found, I jumped over to him and grabbed water, which I dripped all over him when I knocked on I felt so bad for the poor little thing that I hoped getting it some ropes to stand on inside its cage would help, and it did. The little fella can now stand up and hold on with his toes much better than he could with the wooden branch type in his cage. I keep it at a low level in a LARGE cage that I keep as a backup for my Sun Conures. I had hoped to reunite it with its family who live here at my house (I feed a lot of birds and several Robins hang out all year), but I'm afraid it won't be able to because it lacks balance and when it tries to fly, it falls about 4 feet and lands flat on its back, so it'll have to go back in its cage to avoid being eaten by the cats. THANK YOU for creating this item for my little fella, allowing him/her to at least stand up by holding on to the rope with his/her toes without falling. It's a high-quality rope; I have several from the Pet Shoppe in my Conures' cage, but this is by far the best, from the secure ends to the rope itself!.
I've had a lot of rope perches in the past, and my macaw has always taken months to chew them down. Within two weeks, my bird had severed all of the strands at the mount using this perch. I figured it'd be fine because there's a heavy-metal band playing nearby. gauge wire running through the center of the rope, but by the fourth week of use, the wire had broken free from the plastic mount, and my bird had fallen to the bottom of the cage with the perch. br>br>I've learned a valuable lesson. The low- At first glance, the price of this product should have turned me off, but I was duped. There will be no more. Be careful who you buy from. Made in China. br>br>.
The wire was sticking out when I arrived.
br>When I went to shape the rope, I was hoping for a higher-quality product. I noticed the threading and rope twist weren't very tight, and I could see the wire in the middle. br>This isn't good! br>After that, I noticed that my bird could easily pull the rope away from the wire, so I bought two more and. . Well I'm. br>I'm a verified buyer who left a fair review.
It's in the cage now, and my two Amazons (2 Yellow Napes) seem to enjoy it. They can, however, fully encircle it with their feet. The price is attractive, but the image of a macaw using it is misleading. One of the ends is being chewed by them. But that's what they do, and anything placed in their cage is merely a sacrifice to the gods of the birds. This has been hanging for about 4 months. It's also a nice study that stayed in shape after being installed. Because it's on my outside cage, it's exposed to the elements.
The images of the birds perched on the ledges are deceptive. The perches are depicted as being thicker than they actually are. I know this because I own a Greenwing Macaw, which is larger than the Blue and Gold Macaw shown in the example. An inch or so thick If you are aware of this, you can decide whether to place an order based on that knowledge.
It's precisely what I was looking for. Very sturdy and appealing to the eye. The new stick perches are far superior to the old stick perches. It's flexible enough for me to bend it to fit exactly where I want it. This is something I would strongly recommend. I haven't had to clean it yet, and my bird(s) haven't tried to tear it apart. I'll simply order another one if it doesn't hold up or cleans up well. It is simply too good to be true. Thank you, Jusney, for your quick response and interest in providing a high-quality product.
