Questions & Answers

What does this backpack look like? Is there a second shoulder strap?

There is no such thing. Despite the fact that it has a handle and a shoulder strap, it is very simple.

If this carrier is used in the car, can it be secured with a seatbelt?

I wouldn't say that at all. While it doesn't sit perfectly securely on the front seat floorboards, it does sit rather securely there. Whenever I have a trip, my conure likes to ride in the passenger seat to take in the views. His mind must be racing as he flies! The carrier is great. It's a big hit in every pet store I bring him to.

A green cheek conure should have a size that is appropriate for them?

It is a small 13 for me. The dimensions are 5 x 9 x 18 inches. The cockatail fits in 5" and my 5" fits in 11".

What do you think? Is this too large The one you sent me or the smaller one that measures 14 inches is keeping me from deciding. It measures 5"x10". Are 5"x7" acceptable?

I definitely believe one should not grow too big and overweight for a cockatiel. In my opinion, a smaller soft-sided travel cage would not be suitable. When I have to go to the vet for a cockatiel's nails to be trimmed, I only use this brush. When I travel for a longer period of time, I take

I love my carrier! Stunning
5/5

I'm in love. A Large Carrier is plenty big enough to carry my Green Cheek Conure, who has plenty of room to spread his wings and stretch if he needs to. The other thing I like about this is that it has a height adjustment for the perch. This is great for my Conure because of his long tail, and if I have to take my lovebird, I can set it low enough so he is not The carrier is light as well. Because I am only 5'3 and have no muscle strength, it is great for me because I can concentrate on carrying him instead of fumbling around because of how heavy the carrier is. However, I prefer to carry it by the handle on top of the bag instead of using the strap. One more thing that is awesome is the bottom of the carrier has a velcroed bottom so when you need to clean the poop out, it is easy to clean!.

Despite its affordable price, it was not as good as it could have been
4/5

My search for a bird carrier ended up being limited to this one, which didn't cost a fortune. I think it's a decent value for the price. There were no bends at all in the wire mesh upon arrival. Since it turned out to be a lot more secure than I anticipated, it allowed me to take my birds outside with me without worrying about them. Although the perch is just plain wood, it is difficult for smaller-footed birds to keep traction on, especially those with small If you want to give your birds a surface they can eat from, cover it in vet wrap. I was able to hold on to my Green Cheek Conure easily, but my lovebird found it impossible to hold on when moving, so he sat on the floor. As it turns out, the carrier is a larger size than I expected. The largest size, which would give an African Grey or a similar effect, was chosen. The size of the space during travel is comfortable for the bird. It would be best to bring a larger travel cage along with you if you are going to be traveling for a long period of time, as it will be the only place your pet bird will be able to spend time in when you reach your destination. I was hoping it would actually serve as a temporary cage, even for a very small bird. It seems to lack holders for a water bottle and a food bowl, as well as some way for a bird to hang a toy. I like that the carrier has a removable floor so that it is easy to clean, but the material is slippery. As a result, the poop on the surface can be cleaned very easily, but this makes it difficult for the birds to sit on it. My birds who prefer to sleep perched would only need vet wrap so they won't fall asleep in the dark. But if we travel in the dark, I would clean the bottom of the box and lay a clean washcloth on the floor for them to sleep on. It doesn't pose a risk for your bird to chew through the mesh screens because they are very thin. is not much in this bird's nest that he can chew, except for the perch and the In my opinion, this carrier should have shoulder straps so that it can be worn like a backpack instead of being carried on one's shoulder because it would cause the birds to jostle a lot less than if it were worn on one's Furthermore, it would be nice if it came simply in solid colors rather than floral patterns only. Carrying it makes me look like a guy with a purse, so I don't like the looks it gets. A good alternative to the very expensive bird travel bags listed on Amazon and elsewhere, this bag is a good alternative to the others. As a bird owner, I was extremely happy to be able to take my birds outside for the very first time. A great deal of enjoyment was had by them. The kids and I walked along a stream with a trail alongside the river, and they were so quiet and relaxed. In addition, if you know how to sew or you are crafty, you might be able to add food and accessory holders to the back. Travel bags can cost upwards of $200, so if you don't have that kind of money to blow, then this one is definitely.

The use of this product is unsafe
3/5

My poor Sun Conure that I bought the carrier for has fallen off each time we've tried using it because of the wood dowel perch that spins freely in its slot. It also appears that even the slightest pressure on the top of the carrier (like setting the carrier down after carrying it by the handle) causes the sides to bow out slightly and the wooden dowel perch to fall completely out of its slot. Using this carrier would not be a good idea for a parrot, and I don't recommend it. While I liked the idea of a small, lightweight carrier for vet visits and short trips in the car, the design needs to be thoughtfully rethought. It would've solved the problems I would've had if I'd kept a carrier like that if it had a rope perch mounted in a "U" shape, bolted to the sides.

This carrier is so awesome that even the staff of the pet store envy it! I'm so happy to have found this carrier! From the screened windows, Calypso can watch the outside world
5/5

In relation to her perch, she can position it high or low. Vinyl is the type of material covering the floor, which can be easily wiped off. This bird carrier is so perfect that the shop staff is totally envious when I take it to the pet store to get her wings and nails trimmed. This car seat fits nicely in the back of the car.

Parrots are too fragile to be attached to a bird cage
3/5

A cute and lightweight bird carrier that is big enough for a medium size bird. Nevertheless, my African grey pecked his beak through the zipper within minutes of settling into the carrier. I examined the zipper and found that it was a standard zipper, the kind you put in dresses, rather than the kind I would expect to find on a product that contains Spending money in vain.

I am in love with this carrier
5/5

Bill D. is very happy with the carrier I purchased for him. Choosing an idol. His tail feathers won't be damaged as the perch is mounted right at the right height so that he doesn't scrape them on the crate's bottom. I like how it is spacious, and my bird likes that the windows let him see what is going on around them. Furthermore, I plan to use the front panel because it zips open and lays flat to make it easier to clean and to load and unload Billy. . Besides being very fashionable, it's also highly useful! At the bird show we attended in June, we were the envy of the exhibitors! 5) Great!.

My parrot and I love the way it travels in the car
5/5

Now that I've used this several times, I've seen it as a viable option for traveling Our perches have to be thicker and more sturdy for her in every cage we buy for her. The case is small but sturdy enough to be carried by the Amazon as a small bird. In this case it is more convenient than a large cage for me, since I feel she is more secure in that case. Our journey is filled with joy, comfort, and security as we cruise open roads. She has food and water in a small cup in the corner so that she can nibble on it. The food and water dishes do not come with the vehicle.

I like the fact that it's solid, safe, and A soft sided, high quality bird carrier like this is the best I've seen
5/5

No matter how high or low the perch is, the bird feels safe inside but has a great view! I got the large one for our yellow sided green cheek conure named Mirli so she could accommodate her long tail! It's a beautiful black and white design as well!.
