Rats make wonderful pets, as I had pet rats as a child. It doesn't seem like they are large enough to keep as pets. These are very nice to use with my parakeets, but I wouldn't recommend them with a big bird.

It was good for me and seems to be good for the birds as well. Because I thought the sticks were longer than they actually were, I put pictures of sizing as a help to others. Though the yellow one is a little crooked, I can live with it, especially given the price and the convenience of ordering it online without having to go anywhere. The perches are a good size for budgies and tiels. The wood platforms are a decent size for small birds.
