I believe it became that way because of how it was packaged, and the scent became trapped inside the box's bag. When I put it together, I found it to be fairly simple to put together, and it was nice that a screw driver was included, rather than those teeny-tiny ones, because it was a good size for a perfect grip. Now, as all bird owners know, birds' feet require texture, so after seeing another bird owner use vet on Amazon, I decided to try it myself. To give it some texture, I used tape to wrap the perches in, and wow, it looks amazing, and it's even more colorful now because of this extra step. I also included an additional toy, a small hanging rope, which can also be found on Amazon. My birds haven't tried it yet because I'm expecting them in about three weeks. I'll try to update with a short video after they've had a chance to play with it for 4 days. The small bell toy that comes with this product should be handled with caution, as birds have been known to become injured or have the bell stuck in their beaks. I may remove it or simply keep a close eye on them while they play with it. . . other than that, I adore this product and am confident you will as well!.
Overall, however, this stand is ideal for a small space. I was looking for something to put on my bathroom vanity. I used my own toys instead of the ones that came with it. It's just a matter of taste. I'm very pleased with the stand, which comes with a screwdriver and screws for assembly.
Pringles, who grew up around birds, is a first-time bird owner who adores this perch! I, too, am a huge fan. It arrived in good condition, with all of the pieces in place. It didn't come with instructions, but all you need is a picture to guide you through the process, and it's super simple to put together. It even included a small screwdriver! I'd give it a higher rating if I could.
I was hesitant to purchase this because of the mixed reviews. This is a good size for cockatiels to hang out on when needed, but not all day. Increasing the variety of things to chew on is probably a good idea. br>br>Pros: br>Great sizebr>Removable washable traybr>Food and water bowlsbr>Toysbr>Enough spacebr>Easy to put togetherbr>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br br>Deep (but still usable) water and food bowlsbr>Branches instead of rods (I wrapped mine in vet wrap)br>Bells are a hazard, so I removed them.
br> I waited two weeks to start playing with it, but now they want to spend all of their time in it!br>I just added some Eva foam pieces to their playset because they like it so much, and I'm glad they have something to do with it. br>br>I'm overjoyed! br>br>And don't forget to look at the photo! , which is the last image in the instructions! It's not difficult to construct.
It's simple to put together; the rope breaks easily, but it's simple to put back together. The screws don't completely tighten, but that's actually a good thing because it allows you to swivel the T-bar. Adjust your position according to the preferences of your birds. You can also attach toys to the rope, which is a fantastic idea. My Birdie spends the entire day at this playground. It's something she really enjoys.
The instructions for putting it together were not to my liking. Unfortunately, it frightened my bird, but I like it! I'm hoping it will become habitual for my bird. If you put water in one of the cups, it will spill out when you try to replace it because they fit tightly in the holes. The stairwell is too narrow for the ladder. A smaller bird, such as a parakeet, would benefit from it.
It was simple to assemble, all parts were included, and it arrived on time; I would buy it again.
