I have a cage that measures about 83 inches all Although I did not have to tie the draw strings, I love the extra security that the draw strings provide. Taking care that it didn't snag on the toys that connect to the cage walls, the net took only about 60 seconds to put on. The stars and lace on this design make it very cute. There is no doubt this is a sturdy fabric, and it stretches easily to fit over the cage and move out of the way to open the door.

In mesh netting there are plastic stars glued on and these are unsuitable for birds because they can chew and To keep the mess contained in the bottom of the cage rather than on the floor, I use mesh seedcatchers on my parakeet cages

It is made of a fabric that is not safe for birds, so the seed catcher I received for review was not suitable. There is a polyester mesh described in the description. I thought the photo showed a print of stars on mesh, but it appears to be mesh with stars. Rather than with mesh, I received strips of plastic stars lightly glued to mesh. It is easy to peel them How is this a dangerous product? And why should I avoid using it? Objects with a shiny surface attract birds. Chewing is a normal behavior for birds. Birds who swallow one of the tiny plastic stars will have an infection or even die if the star lodges in their crop. What I really like on this belt is the design with the elastic cord and spring buckle. Many seed catchers don't have elastic, which is not as nice as sewn on elastic. However, I can't use these because of unreliable.
