Seeds are kept fresh for a very long time with this product Make sure there is as little mess as possible. It would be best to get two cages if you have a tall cage like me. The result is that the mess stays down & the mess is contained. The birds cages are next to the window when they are next to me). I also love how easy it is to clean!.
