Questions & Answers

Does this sound like something a corn snake would like? The bedding I'm using now is from Aspen, and I want to replace it. ?

These things are great, in my opinion. I would imagine that the texture would be a bit finer The chip size is smaller Is aspen bedding more like cedar shavings than aspen bedding (which I assume is somewhat similar in texture to cedar shavings)? There is so much you can do with this bale. Once it's fluffed up, it may last you longer than a bale of shavings. It's quite compressed and once scooped out of a pail it is quite compact.

Does the product I will be getting have a capacity of 300L? If it were packaged, how would it look? The box is plain, or is there a logo on it? Have you been worried about customs because hemp is illegal?

box is vacuum pressure sealed and packed with the help. I am not sure what the Customs restrictions are. To learn more about your country's restrictions, you'll need to check with them. Hemp has no THC, it is hemp

Can you tell me where the hemp is Is it packaged? How do you know where it came ?

The source of the plant is unknown to me. There is a label on the package that states

I use it in my chicken coop/deep litter system and it works great
5/5

There is a medium size chicken coop / run in the backyard. I currently have three hens. When it comes to deep litter systems, pine shavings is typically used. On some youtube videos, I heard that it was highly rated. I decided to give it a go. I am pleased with the size of this bag and how tightly it is compacted. When it comes to my already established coop, a little goes a long way. The hemp I got from the field was large, so I tossed large handfuls into my deep litter system. Added it to the mix. The project looks as though it will be a success. My update will be as soon as possible. As with my run, which is a deep litter system, I also have some in it. Pictures will be posted later, if I remember. In the coming weeks, I'll follow up with my observations about how soft the slate is and whether it has less dust than pine shavings. A brief update This was ordered in January, and I've been using it for almost six months now. It really does take very little effort to get a lot done. The remaining 1/4 of the bag is still in the bag. It does really well, and I'm happy with that.

The product is good and the customer service is good, but it is expensive for quantity
4/5

Two purchases of this item have now been made. The 1st purchase was on 4-24-07, and the second on 4-25-07. A hemp bag was first packaged by weight in 1818, and a hemp sack was introduced in 1921 The 33lb bag was $59, so I got a good deal. My 5-day purchase of a 33lb package was successful We received four bags of "8 lb" hemp, but it was estimated to weigh 18. After further inspection, UPS's shipping label stated that the package had a weight of 20lbs & 14oz The total weight actually showed up on my scale as that. Contact the seller and find out what the terms are I was very pleased with their promptness in addressing my concerns & responding Taking action to fix the problem A total of three more bags of eighth-pound hemp were sent to me. The second order has been placed & I'm ready to place the third order As you can see, the packaging is now volumetric instead of weight. There is one 300L bag listed for $59, but the smallest is listed for $32. However, the shipping weight is specified as 30lbs, which is in contradiction with the price of 99. Despite this, I am still satisfied with the performance of the hemp and hemp oil It is a loss of 3 pounds of product for the same price as $59, which is quite a bit for the same product. I am happy with odor control and the price is reasonable considering bulk distributors offer it at a much more reasonable price than I was expecting. In fact, I use longevity as bedding for my skinny pigs (basically guinea pigs without fur). I was also relieved to see that the texture is great, since I thought it might be too rough for their skin & hair A foot. smell of pine in particular is less offensive than that of several other bedding types that I have used in the past, and I particularly like its softness. This is a dust-free product that I also used to brood my chicks. My first year of using it was successful, but it didn't last long, although I did have a lot more chicks than usual. A 5' x 8' pan is roughly in size) In the sows' cages, the size is 28" x 56", and the height is 38" Boar's is small, measuring a little less than The following are the Top Manufacturers It is very nice of you to offer this option for bedding, but perhaps consider adjusting the price. Would you opt for bulk options if the market dictated it?.

As far as I know, this is the best chicken litter out there
5/5

While it is an expensive product, when I consider how long it will last compared to chopped straw or pine shavings, the price is about the same since hemp does not need to be changed as frequently as pine shavings or chopped straw. My cat has been using it for about 3 months, while others have been using it for more than a year with the original litter. the chicken coop smells like nothing after three months of using it by 10 chickens, who spend at least a part of the day in it every day during these winter months. Even though my chicken coop is on soil and we have had lots of rain, it doesn't accumulate an ammonia smell. In order to keep odor under control, I have had to use products such as sweet PDZ with other litters. The hemp has been left untouched so far and I don't think any additions are required. It doesn't take long for the droppings to dry out. There is no need to worry about it flying into the feeders and waterers because it remains there. No migration occurs in the area of dust baths either. It seems to be a good place for my chickens as well. Currently, I have three large bags of this substrate in an 8' x 12' area of the coop (the rest is sand under the roost bars and a large dust bathing area). In the future I may add a fourth bag since I like my litter deep, but for now there does not seem to be any need for a fourth bag. It would be nice if the price of hemp came down as more hemp is grown in the US, but if the price stays the same or even goes down, I would be happy! The following is an update after 11 months During a renovation of the chicken coop, the original hemp bedding was still used. All of the bags are still in good shape despite the addition of one more. Even with some very rainy weather, there's no smell and it remains dry. Even though I take care to clear up all the obvious droppings at the end of each day, there are still plenty that are The current litter has been in place for a year, and I like it to be fresh. I am buying a couple more bags to add to the existing litter, but there is no need to discard it.

I love it so much that my chickens eat it whole! As of yet, my chickens don't seem to care for it
5/5

Despite the small amount of information provided, it wasn't clear how much cover the 12L would offer. The bottom of my coop, which holds up to 8 chickens at most, would not even cover it. Bales can be purchased in bulk for a little more money. The chickens have enjoyed it so far, so I will probably be buying it again, though I may have to do so elsewhere where you will get better value. * NOTE *UPDATE -I have changed my rating of 3 stars to 5 stars in the review above. The following are reasons for it It is NOT because the company sent me enough to cover my entire coop that I am changing the rating to a 5 star review. They contacted me and apologized for any misunderstanding about the amount and we sent enough to cover the coop. reason I changed my review to a 5 star is the apology because most companies will never reach out to you after a mistake. As for my chickens, they love this product (I changed the title to reflect their love for the product). we have seen that does not end up in the coop and all over the yard. I also enjoy the fact that we do not have to clean up straw or other materials every day. It is easy to clean hemp shredded like this. As part of my daily routine, I go out with a cat litter scooper and scoop out all the litter leaves. I bought it a week ago, and it has been in the chicken coop for a week. There has not been any ammonia smell after the chickens have used it. I would definitely buy it again and suggest it to Furthermore, I have contacted bulk hemp hurd companies to determine whether they offer bulk purchases and have never heard back. As I had mentioned previously, buying in bulk is not as easy as it may seem. Additionally, RentACoop told me they were updating their listing so that they could more accurately reflect how much area is covered by their packages.
