There is a possibility, but I am unsure. If you were to match your carberator with the Amazon pictures, you would have a perfect match. The problem will be solved if they look alike. There is an obvious difference between the new style carb and the old style carb. In that case, I did what I had to do.

When I first purchased it, the Troy Bilt Snowthrower, Storm 2410 179cc, was not working properly. When I ran the engine with the choke only half on for the entire time, the RPM would surge up and down as though it was starving for gas. There was both high and low speed behavior, which had gotten increasingly severe over the years. It wasn't until this year that I could no longer ignore the issue so like everyone else, I watched some YouTube videos to get an idea of how to solve it. In an attempt to save a few bucks, I started refurbishing the existing carburetor. I did all that I could to clean it and blew it out, but it still did not work. In the following video, I open up the low idle jet one micro increment at a time with tiny drill bits, however that didn't work after several attempts. At some point I even tried opening up the main jet before I came to my senses and realized that I had totally wasted my time. At least five times I took the old carb apart and put it back together and decided enough was enough, so I threw it out Within a few days I had my Troy-tank on, I put it on in less than 30 minutes and I couldn't be happier This is the first time that Bilt has worked well. My advice would be to remove the old carb and look at it if you are experiencing the same issue. It's okay to clean it if it's dirty or the gas residue is yellow, but if cleaning doesn't work you should throw it away and buy another that you have heard, listen up! Check to make sure your carb you intend to order actually shows the specific model number you are looking for before placing your order. It is not possible to interchange any of these pieces since they all look exactly the same. Specifically, the one I own has the model number ( 165SB ) engraved on the side of the body, which is a different version from the one stamped with ( 165S ) on the body, and as I said, they look identical in pictures.
The Troy Storm 2410 was a powerful storm. So I got this product to replace the factory one which was exhibiting a rough idle and then completely stopped working. Upon ordering it, I noticed that the idle control was different, but I was assured that it worked and was the In a sense, it does, but it didn't. Idle control was the only piece of equipment that didn't fit perfectly. We replaced the original with this one because the original was made up of a lot of cheap plastic parts and we could not swap out the top of the idle control to make it work like the Because I didn't care that much about how it looked (because I didn't care so much about how it looks), I ran a wire through it. If I want to choke on, I pull one way, and if I want to choke off, I pull the other way. I will swap it out for a more sophisticated setup, but for now it worked. Although it is brand new, it would take 3 minutes to run 3 miles Five pulls are required to start. I only had to pull about half of it to get it started! I also noticed that the idle was smoother. In addition, the cost was half of what it would have been if it was a replacement. Thus, I would have happily given it a 5-star rating, as I feel it truly deserves, if only I hadn't rigged.
It had sat for the last winter and refused to start until My diagnosis of the problem was a carb issue, and I set out to find cleaning/rebuilding instructions and parts to fix it. After that, I came across My old computer is beyond repair so I'll be replacing it for less than $30 instead of trying to fix it. On YouTube, you'll find a video that walks you through how to disassemble the machine. A carburetor such as this fits well on the "old" The Troy Bilt 2410 has a "style" of its own. One of the gaskets is incorrect and will not work, so I docked one star from it. Thanks to the fact that I didn't destroy the previous one, I was able to use it again. In my case, there was no computer assistance required, just the usual hand tools and about an hour of time for installation and cleanup. Once everything was repaired, the blower began to blow after the first pull.
It did not replace my TB Storm 2410 carb (despite the fact that the product description indicated that it did). Using a choke connected to this carb would be problematic because it didn't have the plastic post connected to it. My old carb was able to be disassembled with the supplied gaskets, cleaned up, and put back together using the gaskets. It was for that reason that I was unable to return this book. Nonetheless, I had to do it this way as I did not have time to order another. Whether it was the correct part or not, the construction of the carb looked good, and I would have been glad to use it.
In my experience, it did not work as advertised on the Troy Built Storm 2410. Choke mechanism was different from the one used now. Because I was able to make use of the fuel filler cap gaskets to fix the original carb, I've given it two stars despite the false advertisement.
There are many cheap carburetors available on Amazon, but do not buy any. For my blower, weedwacker, and so forth, I bought one of these. Using a snow blower or all three of these stops working after about three or four times. If you want to buy a carburetor for your equipment, look for a brand that fits that Paying less than $40 is acceptable. I think you're asking for trouble if you charge $00 for one. It would be great if you could save me some.
