I bought the snow blower today but it still runs like it did last night! Even after looking at a carburetor that had been cleaned a number of times, I still couldn't get the machine to My guess is that the problem lay in leaving a can of gas (which even had stabilizer in it) in the machine for the entire My initial symptom was that I had to leave the choke on almost fully closed in order to keep the engine running

I also lost most of my power in the process.
I could not believe that this was so inexpensive (also Installed this carb in place of the old one, put an on/off valve between the gas tank and carb's intake, and removed the old carb. Within a few pulls, my snow blower started up, and I now have a like new machine. I HIGHLY recommend this method. The carburetor can be replaced in about 45 minutes if you know how to use a ratchet wrench. Sockets in the 8mm and 10mm range are needed.
