Fit and was very easy to put in place

I installed the auger paddles very easily and they were exactly the right size. As far as the new auger paddles go, they are soft in comparison to the paddles they replaced. I will have to wait and see whether they wear out faster, but overall, the snow blower is much more responsive now.

On my 18 year old, there are paddles that hook on the handle. In the driveway, the Ariens smashed when they caught the edge of an offset. Before I got the new ones, I didn't know they were supposed to be movable. As they aged, they probably became more shipped the items promptly and they arrived a day earlier than expected. While the price was good, I was disappointed upon receiving them. The walls are thinner than the original OEM paddles, and the paddles are not as stiff as those of the original OEM.
