Do the jets of the adjustable jets need to be replaced?

All adjustments seem to have been made without affecting the seal. Although I did not remove the bowl to find out if drilling it was feasible, I am guessing it is. It is a little lean when it is cold, but it is fine once it is warm.

What gasket goes on the air intake side or on the main intake of the engine?

Between the carburetor and the intake manifold is a gasket.

Can you tell me what size threads are tapped in the air intake (choke side) of carbs? You would need this for the two screws that fasten the air intake assembly to the carburetor. ?

A SAE 10 thread is used I like this thread very much. METRIC IS NOT a measure.

Although jetting is too narrow, the results are decent

Taking off the black plastic cover, you will find a screw on this. Remove this screw and I believe you will find the non-adjustable Within the bowl there is an extremely fast jet. The carburetor works just fine. It was impressively built, but because of the low speed jet being too narrow for my 6 horsepower, I have idle issues. This can be remedied with a small drill bit to increase the low speed jet size. It runs great at full throttle but at idle it gets quite rough.

Only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because it came only Fortunately, the old gasket on the other side was in good shape so I had no problem reusing it. All in all, a very satisfied customer.

Great fit and works like a charm! Yerf dogs are a hit with my son, so I just bought him one used. Fortunately, we were able to get a great deal since the engine was running rough. I installed this new carburetor and it worked! I've never seen it run like that before! Install took no more than 15 minutes. This is a very simple process. During the first pull of the cord, the engine now starts right away.

It showed up within a couple days after ordering. New carb was installed on the saddle racer after the old carb was removed. This kind of racing is like barstool racing. Now that my beast is back in action, it's running like a dream!.

With the idle screw all the way out, this carb idles too high, so I turned it to one extreme and then turned it back to its original setting. This carb looks like it will work fine at speed, but it is a little hard to start. I couldn't use the motor since the idle speed is too high for a go kart. I have just put the original carb back on, so I have not been able to idle at all.

A carburetor like this one does not allow for adjustment of the fuel/air mixture, but the factory settings are sufficient. I was surprised by the fact that it started on my first pull after installation, but there is surging that seems to occur when This product is able to withstand heavy loads. A 6 was used for the installation. It is powered by a Tecumseh motor of five horsepower.
