There is either something wrong with ariens' carbs or this carb is not compatible come out vertical like this one. My choke lever should come out at a right angle instead of coming straight forward. Despite that, I had to bend it into a right angle to get it to fit, it otherwise bolted right on. Even though the snow blower started up and ran well, after it warm up I had to keep the choke near full in order to keep it running smoothly. There are not enough winter jets for this to be suitable for the summer. The gaskets were also missing, but the existing ones work well enough for testing. The dealer eventually returned it and ordered me another random replacement carb from China which was flawless. Search for "LCT 208 carburetor" if you have the right angle style choke lever, and there will be a few options available.

This comes with everything that's shown in the picture, even if you've bought the Ariens 920402! New spark plugs are always a pleasure for me. Anyway, this is something I have never done before, and I was unable to watch any videos until I replaced this device. The kit includes more parts than you could ever use. I also believe the parts are genuine and are of high quality. The old carb could not be repaired (the jet had to be cleaned) so I was almost forced to buy a new snowblower. Anyhow, I'm really glad this worked out! Once again, I have a snowblower that kicks butt!.

I could use it on my Ariens Sno-Tek 24 without any problems. When I used gasoline and ethynol, I made a mistake. Within a couple of years, all the gum had been removed. It took me about an hour to install this kit. The first time I put in good gas (no ethynol) it started as soon as I put it in. Despite its age, it is running For less than $20, this is not bad!.
