Having gone back to college after working at Ariens 35 years ago, I now work at the company again. My experience as part of their quality control team is one of the reasons why I would never buy another brand. Sno-Tek is an Ariens brand which is all engineered by Ariens. The only thing on it is the Chinese motor. The Briggs is not one of them. They were made with Tecumseh motors when I built them. I am old, but, as I mentioned, I have a lot to do. Since I bought that unit three seasons ago, I have had it for three My sheer pin finally blew thanks to a rock I hit. You never want to be without anything so I got some extra. It is these babies who are truly animals. There is a risk when you shop on Amazon. It took me a while to figure out that some bolts advertised as Genuine were really Go cheap unless you want to end up with a broken machine. I don't mean to mock you. The practice has been witnessed by many people.

This is a 5 star review. If you're looking to save money, there are a few things you should go generic on I don't think you can! It is extremely important to have the right shear bolts and I am very glad I found these to be perfect.

A OEM product was purchased for a price that was cheaper than the aftermarket version

The warranty on the Ariens product would have been void if I returned the product. I would have given it a lower rating, but I got my refund quickly. It is vital to make sure you get what you pay for since aftermarket and OEM prices are so much different.

There is work to be done and they do it well. That's about all I have I fitted them to my blower and they It was a waste of time and energy, because none of the local stores carried If I learn, I'll just go to Amazon and buy whatever I need.
