It fits a generator according to the description, and it does. I hooked it up to my personal generator and it fired up on the first pull. I had to use a few original choke pieces to get it to work properly, but it works.
You'd have to inquire with the manufacturer. I looked up carburetor for brigs (serial number) on Amazon and found it. As a result, I advise you to conduct your search using that method. Then I made a comparison between the two images.
Yes. This product hasn't caused any issues for me.
Pull the choke butterfly valve out of the plastic shaft to switch to a different choke handle. It's simply a slit into which a press fit is made. The plastic shaft should slide out once it has been removed. Remove the original shaft's foam washer/gasket and replace it with the new shaft's. Replace the choke butterfly and slide the shaft into place. Make sure everything is in the right place.

My Coleman Powermate 5000, which I've had for 12 years, has a S 1450 engine. It's nearly identical to the Nikki carb I was replacing. It bothers me for two reasons. The control rod that came with it, as well as the original rod, would not fit into the new unit's hole. Other reviews alluded to this. Why would you send a part that you already know isn't going to fit? To avoid breaking the plastic, I carefully drilled out the existing hole in the grommet, graduating in drill bit sizes. It was a good fit, but the choke handle was a problem. The handle that came with it was excessively long. However, the kit included a couple of extra handles. It was almost a carbon copy of the original. The handle, however, did not sit flush against the top of the butterfly shaft. Neither the original handle nor the new shaft fit snugly. As a result, I had to take apart the original carb's choke assembly and replace it with the new one. It fit. The new carburetor was a perfect match for the engine. And the engine started on the first pull, despite the fact that it hadn't been run in two and a half years. Viola! I'm from the Virgin Islands of the United States of America. Things like this are not available in our stores. So when we order something from off island, we cross our fingers that it will arrive in good condition, and having this carburetor fit and work, albeit with minor modifications, is a relief. Anyone would benefit from it.
I have to agree with the previous reviews. I admit that I cheated a little by watching videos and reading reviews before placing my order. Instructions for removing the choke plate and replacing it with the proper choke arm would be beneficial. Too small a hole in the plastic of the throttle arm, so it was cleaned out with a 7/64 bit, which made it much smoother. Pulling the cord twice broke the cord, removing the shroud, and the kill switch leg broke off. The cord shroud has been riveted in place! I replaced the cord and re-plugged it in. After aligning for a better pull angle and turning off the new kill switch, the second pull began and ran smoothly! At long last, the carburetor replacement was a success!.
It's possible that the job will turn out to be a bit bigger than anticipated. I haven't yet had the opportunity to put it in place. The only caution I have is that you may need to replace the old governor connector, which is fortunately included in the kit. It's possible that the job will turn out to be a bit bigger than anticipated. But it's not a big deal. This was the second carburetor that I had purchased. Because the first one was defective, Amazon sent a replacement right away. While I awaited the replacement, I decided to rebuild the old carburetor on my generator and keep this one as a backup. Having a back-up is probably a good idea. My generator always seems to work fine when I check it, but it won't start when I need it. If I need to replace my rebuilt carburetor, I'll update this review to confirm that it still works.
After years of infrequent use and neglect, my Husky 5000 watt generator became clogged with bad gas. I decided to replace the entire carborator after attempting to clean it myself. The generator fired up on the first pull after I installed a new carb and a new spark plug. I had a great experience with the product. br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "creative I was planning on just replacing the gaskets, but the float bowl gasket and two carb gaskets cost the same as the entire new carb kit. In the future, I plan to remove the gas from the floatbowl and replace it with stable.
On my Sears B, I had previously rebuilt the Nikki carburetor. I had a S 5550 watt generator for a while and it didn't seem to have any problems, but it never seemed to work properly. For a little more money, I replaced the entire carburetor, and it now runs perfectly. This OEM replacement has exceeded my expectations. The only tricky part was changing the choke shaft, where some directions would have been helpful; in the end, I watched a Utube video where the choke plate was pulled out of the arm. Because of the retaining piece inside the slot, installing the choke plate in the new shaft took some fiddling. My compressor was loaded onto the generator, and it never stopped working. If you're having trouble with carbs, this is a must-try.
I would strongly suggest it.
When this carburetor was installed on a generator, it started right up and ran smoothly. Excellent value for money.
I was tired of dismantling and cleaning my old carburetor all the time. It took about 10 minutes to install this one, and the engine is now running smoothly. Of course, it'll only be a matter of time before this ethanol nonsense gets in the way once more. I long for the days when gas was just that: gas.
