Questions & Answers

What is the reason this product is not available for shipping to California?

There are a lot of people from

Are there any extensions for the pole that you can purchase in order to lengthen it? The box comes with three, and I would like the option to purchase two more. ?

There is no way I can tell you. Although it can be manipulated, it is difficult in its current form. It is unlikely that you will be able to use additional extensions to work with it. The material can bend and is flexible

What do you think about using this for ?

Hard plastic makes up the Garant snow blade. Aluminum poles are flexible, long, and made up of aluminum wire. If you wish to use the rake over uneven surfaces, be delicate and use it carefully. The solar panels in your home are fragile, I don't know how they're made.

Could you please tell me if there are ?

The extension is made up of two sections for a total length of approximately 23 feet. The product has a 15-foot height

I tried aggressively to break it It could not be done
5/5

It's usually my practice to try out a product several times before writing a review, but we've only had one snowstorm in CT so far this season. This is going to happen. Disclaimer I'm an engineer by training, so I'm not particularly gentle on things and I've a tendency to be a harsh critic of crap that isn't well designed. A 5 star rating indicates that the product is not poorly designed. The thing ended up coming about three days late (not Amazon's fault! I placed the order on the day a 16" dump was delivered. After getting the roof rake, it formed a thick crust on my roof and had dropped to a depth of about 8 inches. Those of you that have tried to move snow will know these conditions do not make the snow easy to move Condition that is constantly changing. I'll give you a quick look at some roof statistics I have a relatively low roof, with gutters of about 10 feet from the ground. The pitch is also steep, between 30 and 40 degrees There are 45 degrees on the horizon. Through the use of my calibrated eyeball, I have acquired these measurements. As with most things I own, I was hesitant to use the roof rake the first day I got Bolts had fallen off and things had broken, as other people had commented. My understanding of why this was so came about after I saw the hardware. With this product, you get lock nuts, which are great, but require a decent amount of torque when tightened with a wrench, ratchet, etc. The problem is, if you don't properly assemble this, you'll be losing your nuts. Putting the rake together was surprisingly easy, and I was impressed with how durable the scoop was. I found the handle to be strong enough despite the assembly being lighter than I had anticipated. The odds were against me, but I decided to give it a shot. My solution to the crust on the roof was to use a modified wood chopping motion to cut it through. The ability to manipulate data in this way was not intended, but I located it useful nonetheless. After breaking through the crust, I bent the pole over 5 feet at a time with my weight on it, pulling 5 foot sections at a time. The pole seemed curved due to the weight on it, but felt durable and durable. The impression was impressive to me. I purchased it, I removed a similar amount of snow from the horizontal surface of my trailer without any issues. At the time I purchased it, it was the least expensive rake that I saw that wasn't Ultimately, this would be a great choice for those with When I have negative responses in the future, I will be back to amend my post.

I think this is an awesome I didn't have to heat my house or garage last winter thanks to this
5/5

It would be great if it wasn't used so often Snow is easier to drag off the roof when it's rolled away. This was easier for me than a ladder. I used it to clear the roofs of the house and garage by myself. To do this, I cannot get up onto the roof because it is too slick and I do not want to risk a fall. Yes, it was a lot of work, but I think it was necessary in the end. My first one was starting to crack after many years of hard use, but I still managed to use it last winter, which was brutal for snow. I decided to get this second one because my first one had cracked after a few years of hard use. As long as it works this season, I can use it. This roof rake let me not have to move it from house to house, which involved dragging it through the house, so I did not have to move one back and forth. Due to the fact that I bought two of the same kind, I was able to use the poles, so I kept two with one and four Although four poles are sometimes difficult to use, they can be. If the snow is not too iced up, they can be used. Some of the reviews I saw on this item were negative. My understanding of why this is so is hazy. Oh, and one good thing about the newer poles is that the handles are slightly ruff, making it easier to pull them while wearing gloves. It will be bought when I need it, hoping it will not be too Without the two of them here, I would not be where I am.

Your roof determines the quality of your house
3/5

An addition with a steel standing seam roof consists of a single story with a low incline. There are a lot of ice dams where I live and I'm tired of battling them with the snow broom and standing on ladders After doing extensive research, it was discovered that the rake needed to be made of plastic/rubber due to I'm not sure how well this rake will move wet snow since there are extension handles on it, so it is a bit wobbly. As expected, I did not expect it to remove snow between the standing seams (it might be feasible to cut the rake down so it can fit between them). The angle doesn't seem to There are 2 additions to the house There are plenty of holes in the foundation, and you can't see the roof from there, so just flail it and you'll only get a few feet back. For just getting to the roof, you must climb 12 steps It is 3/4', so there is not much room for 'extension left' and not enough rake angle. I found the assembly to be relatively easy.

A good length and a sturdy construction
5/5

This roof rake is great. It seems like a lot of people say it isn't strong enough, but in my opinion it would be too heavy if it was stronger. In my experience, it's a very good piece of software. I have only had it since last year, so I'm not sure how long it will last, but so far it's been great. Because it doesn't do ice, only snow, you should be realistic about what you expect.

I used it for the first time and it was worth the money
5/5

My snow rake was put to good use after this weekend's snowfall On Tuesday, November 10, 2018) a snowstorm dumped 15" of snow on my roof and on the ground. I was pleased with the way the rod sections coupled together and the whole thing held together as a whole. It would have been nice if it featured a couple more straight sections. I only narrowly managed to pull down about five straight sections The height is 6 feet. As you stand on the ground, you can see the snow coming off the roof. Hopefully I will write an updated review once I use it a few more times but so far this is not disappointing at all.

The advertised item is what you get
5/5

Since I have owned this device, I have used it twice now, including during the heaviest snowfall I have experienced. Amount in feet (Determined was a little flimsy, but it's held up I can maneuver it with little difficulty since it's light. As a result of the length of time it took me to reach the peak, I bought a handle extension. There is question about the wisdom of a second extension, as others have pointed out. If you extend your line just one more time, you're well on your way to becoming a highly skilled and very buff fly rod fisherman.

Here are the components of the assembly The instruction here must be difficult to understand, and I'm just tired of companies who provide this kind of instruction
3/5

It would seem that a roof rake would belong to the semi-easily accessible category The category was assembled, but it did not work. My efforts of almost an hour were thwarted by just putting duct tape on the spots where it If you want to charge me a reasonable fee, I'd appreciate it I will spend $15 to get this fully or mostly put together so I won't have to waste time, or I will create a video with an easy to follow step-by-step tutorial to make it all The one bolt that would not go in, however, remained. There is so much time wasted with assembly of products, and customers need to hold firms accountable for the time they waste.
