750 poles are the same as those on 500s and 550s, to my knowledge. The fiberglass poles are required to use the convention rake head that comes with the 750 kit. The adapter included in the kit works with the conventional head.

It is a nice looking product, but this handle extension is too heavy for it to be useful since the system is so heavy. The lift of the head off the roof requires extraordinary strength due to the obstruction of both extension pieces. The pole also bends over 45 degrees when both extension pieces are attached. It is critical that both the avalanche itself and this pole be reconstructed We're going to engineer with better materials (sturdier and lighter)! These two pieces of fiberglass tube are not worth the money you spend on them.
Nevertheless, pushing spaghetti is like a chore. When I was 2 stories down, I had no trouble getting to my roof. Since the pole's bow limits the number of extensions you can use, you can't use more than one extension. A system with more poles would never allow you to lift your end as high as you want before the head would come off the ground. The extension kit proved useful to me at a few times, particularly when I needed to reach higher places. I had difficulty lifting the head of the roof rake from the last section of extension pole to get to the roof and then when I moved up on the pole to lift the head off the ground, the pole would hit the ground behind me stopping me from lifting the head high enough to reach In other words, using one extension kit will max out the Avalanche.
To help clear my high roof, I purchased this along with the Avalance roof rake. Due to the lightweight material used in the handle, the tool is unfortunately / fortunately very light. This is why the original length pools for the Avalance are quick and do not require as much effort as my aluminum-based I have opted not to use this extension, but instead stand on a sturdy step ladder since adding in the extra sections makes the Avalance very unwieldy. Then here is my recommendation for you if you need to purchase this. On your roof, hang the original piece of wood. You will then need to attach the extension to the Avalance roof rake once it is hanging on your roof. Having the wheels on the Avalance makes it easier to maneuver and also prevents you from having to worry about the rake flopping around. You can take out all of your equipment without having to also bring out a step ladder. It is my recommendation to the makers of Avalance to use a more sturdy material for the extension and have a lightweight base pole and extension.
According to the product description, this is what it claims to be. A simple and easy-to-use system. Snow is easy to remove when you do it about three feet at a time. Start at the edge and go all the way across the eave. Then go back and pick up as much as you can without having to pick.
On the ends of the old ones, there is splitting and cracking. There are two connector pieces included in the new ones.
I found the plastic blowing all over and the extension pieces being so flimsy that they are easily damaged. A big box store near you offers much easier and cheaper alternatives.
