Questions & Answers

I already own a kfi (pardon the pun) part 105470 mount. The hook up point on the mount has a 12 inch span. I'm looking for a pushtube and a blade. ?

Yes. It's only a matter of lining up the blades. I feel compelled to say something. This system is the most advanced in the businesszzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I've got a Warn Provantage 4500 mounted on my car. So this push tube and a blade are all I'll need?

It's also necessary to have a machine-specific mount.

Will this front mount tube system work on a kawasaki 650 prarie? I have the one that attaches to the underside of the atv in the middle. ?

This part is compatible with all ATVs; however, the mounting system for your ATV is still required. Also, ensure that the plow you purchase is the correct size for your ATV. The 54-inch plow is required for my 2006 Brute Force 750i.

Is this going to help my 2004 Arctic Cat 400?

The plow mount is the first thing you'll need. This is merely a foundation.

It can be difficult to find the right parts, so let me explain the ProVantage System. br>br>There are four parts to the plow: 1. br>br> Vehicle- (One of a number of part numbers. ) specific mount kit Check [. ] to find the right one for you. )br>br>2. )br>br>3. )br>br>4. ) Push tube assembly (model 92100 or 78100; P/N 92100 or 78100; P/N 78100; P/N 78100 depending on the mounting kit you're using)br>br>3. Many come with a front-mounted kit. Kit for mounting. If you're in the driver's seat, you're in luck. If there is a mount kit available, I would suggest it because it allows the plow to lift higher. It raises high enough for me to reach over the front rack and turn the plow without having to get off my ATV. br>br>*** If you choose a front mount kit, you must also choose the front-mount kit. ***If you choose a center mount kit, you must also choose the center-mount push tube assembly, P/N 92100br>br>*** If you choose a center mount kit, you must also choose the center-mount push tube assembly, P/N 92100br>br>*** mount push tube assembly, P/N 78100br>br>3 is self-explanatory; choose one of five blade options. br>br>4, If you're buying and installing a winch with the rest of the components, read the front mount instructions carefully. Parts of the front mount kit replace a couple components on the winch mount kit on mine, so you'll have to disassemble it after you finish installing the winch mount to install the plow mount. As a result, regardless of the winch you use, I strongly advise you to purchase a WARN winch mount. Warn winch mounts and Warn plow mounts should be interchangeable. br>br>Any reasonable ROLLER fairlead will suffice. WARNING: DO NOT USE A HAWSE- FAIRLEAD DRESS STYLE In addition to their standard fairleads (which will suffice), Warn offers P/N 69373, a roller fairlead specifically designed for plowing. The bottom roller on this fairlead is very large, which reduces the tightness of the bend and extends the life of the winch cable. Warn also sells an 8' synthetic plow lift rope (P/N 68560) to save wear and tear on your regular winch cable. br>br>I suggest a quick winch - While plowing, you'll be raising and lowering the tractor dozens of times. Make sure your winch control is mounted in a convenient spot - You don't want to have to look for it every time. br>br>Here are some options to consider: 1. br>br> (P/N 79360) Power Pivot - The blade of the plow is rotated by an electric motor. This could be useful if you do a lot of plowing.
2. Bucket Loader Conversion (depending on blade width, P/N 83133, 84133, or 85133) - converts a regular plow blade into a bucket loader for handling loose material (sand, gravel, topsoil, mulch, and so on)br>br>There are a few snags you'll run into in certain situations. For example, you might or might not be able to use an assembled plow on two different ATV models. The automobile - Two "tabs" that bolt on to the push tube and allow it to quickly attach to the mount are included in this mounting kit. The height and spacing of tabs on one model may or may not be the same as tabs on another. If you want to use two plows on one ATV (one regular plow and one with the "bucket" conversion), you'll need to contact WARN to get a second set of the aforementioned "tabs" for the second plow. They've been giving them away for free, but you should double-check with them first. br>br>Once you've gathered all of the necessary components, assembly SHOULD be fairly simple; unfortunately, you'll be reading from page 3 of the manual. It's a little confusing because you're looking at five different assembly manuals at once, one for each of the parts you bought. So far, this is my only major complaint about the entire kit.

Amazon fitment notes were sporadic, but WARN is very clear on their site about what parts are intended to fit together, so double-check their listings
3/5

This section was designated for front-row seating. the installation of plows on a 2008-2009 With the right mount kit, the 2018 Suzuki King Quad 400 should fit a variety of other bikes, but check the fitment guides BEFORE you buy. PROS: br>br> br>It appears to be beefy, with a lot of mass from the plate steel and good welds. CONS: br>br> br>The endpoint is subjected to a lot of force, which puts the plow tubes at risk of bending - This is almost certainly done to save money for the manufacturer, and it is a poor design in every other way. I can also see the plow angle adjustment failing because there are a few weak points that will be subjected to a great deal of force, but only time will tell (the documentation for this part was terrible). The HD mount kit is a must-have; if you don't have one, call 85243. 85244 for offset installs and offset mount kits. To figure out which HD mounts you'll need, look at the mounts that came with your WARN ATV mount kit. Other WARN products I ordered for this project (WARN VRX winch and WARN winch mount plate kit) have recently experienced fitment issues, leading me to doubt their quality and value. WARN was my choice because it is said to be superior to Chinese alternatives. So far, the price has been the only metric that has been higher, and the big surprise is that WARN products appear to be made in China as well, which can be fine if QA is handled properly, but it appears that this has been overlooked on many of these products.

It's functional, but it's a pain to put together on a Polaris
3/5

Push tubes are designed to fit into specific 4-inch diameter openings. This review does not apply to all Warn push tubes because they are designed for wheelers. On a 2018 450 Utility Edition (500cc) Sportsman, I installed this model. I've rebuilt automatic transmissions, and working on automobiles, ATVs, tractors, and other vehicles is one of my favorite pastimes. Without a doubt, for something so simple, this installation was one of the most difficult tasks I've ever attempted. My other Polaris has a SnowSport plow that is a dream to use and install, but they are no longer manufactured. So that's why I bought this Warn product, which appears to be well-made, though we haven't yet had our first snowfall. The blade is much more difficult to install than my other one, and the assembly instructions are nothing more than someone's 20-minute attempt to say "Instructions included. " " It was a disaster. In any case, do it on a day when you are not rushed and in a good mood. Expect to spend a few hours on this; it shouldn't have been so difficult.

Metal is of good quality, but the instructions are inadequate, and the plastic rope guide is useless
3/5

I was dissatisfied with the instructions, as were other reviewers, because I had always considered Warn to be the gold standard for hubs, winches, and other off-road equipment. After installing this plow on my 660 Yamaha Grizzly 4 wheeler, I'm baffled as to how Warn could sell a product of this caliber without even providing reasonable assembly instructions. At the very least, they should include a link to a good assembly video. There's also the issue with the plastic winch rope guide, which is useless, especially if you have a Warn winch that came with metal cable and the plastic is designed for winch rope rather than cable. On Amazon, I noticed that a replacement part for the rope guide is available for an additional $30 to $50 for a part that should have come with the original parts. On my hunting pickup, I had a snatch block for a winch that doubled as a rope guide.
