These Warn 85368 ProVantage Heavy Duty Steel skids are well built, but I haven't used them yet because the ones that came with my plow are still functional. These are identical to the stock ones in terms of size. When I use the plow on our Crushed Rock Driveway, I believe that if the skids were larger in diameter, the plow blade would not dig into the crushed rock as much and would not blade it off the driveway. br>Overall, I think the Heavy Duty is preferable to the standard duty.
They were a little difficult to put on the plow, but they appear to be quite sturdy. I'm crossing my fingers that they last me a long time.
On my 5-foot blade, I replaced worn-out skids. It was a perfect match.
These are heavier and appear to be more durable than the factory-installed parts.
Skids that are strong and durable.
My Warn plow's originals were far less durable. It was a perfect fit.
Worked perfectly.
