If you give the skids too much flex, they'll run on

If you give the skids too much flex, they will run on the edges and wear unevenly. I'd put one on top and one underneath the plow, with steel washers/spacers in between.

It is well-made and long-lasting

It lasted a long time compared to. It is well-made and long-lasting. The skid shoes, on the other hand, only lasted one use before the skid plate snapped off.
