However, after three months, it broke. Over the years, as a resident of Buffalo, NY, I've used a lot of snow bushes and tools. To date, my favorite snow brush has been the Snow Moover 42" snow brush. This brush makes it simple to clean a car after a long day while wearing office shoes (rather than snow boots). I appreciate being able to quickly and easily clear the top of the car as well as all of the windows. This book comes highly recommended. This snow brush has been in my possession for over two months and is both sturdy and well-made. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> The snow brush broke three weeks after I wrote my first review (3 months after I bought it). (A pivot point on the plastic snapped. ) (Photos are available upon request. ) ) I really liked this thing, but I guess having that width and still being able to have a compact/collapsible snow brush inside the car was too good to be true.
The mechanism for opening the brush part was easily broken. The extended metal rusted, and some of it bent. I've only had it for a month, and it's been a complete waste of money.
Last night, we received our first snowfall of the year. This morning, there was 6 inches of moderately heavy snow on the ground when I went outside. I was getting frustrated with the brush because it wouldn't stay locked in the extended position after I finished clearing the first car. As a result, the brush had already let me down. When I got to the second car, one of the brush heads snapped off just as I was about to finish. This is most likely the worst Amazon purchase I've ever made. It's total nonsense. NONE OF THE STARS ARE VALUE FOR MONEY.
This is not a durable product; however, if it is only exposed to a few inches of powdery snow, it may meet your needs. Snow, freezing rain, rain on top of snow, snow mixed with sleet, and any other combination of winter weather can be found in the northeast. This product will not be able to clear icy snow or heavy snow with a crust. br>br>The mechanical parts that push the brush into a T position are made of very cheap plastic, as are the pivots that connect each brush to the T's center. br>br>These parts should be made heavier at the very least. It would be preferable to make them out of a more durable material such as nylon or aluminum. br>br>This was something I really wanted to like. This is a fantastic concept. I like the shape, and the length is appropriate for both my Wrangler and my Ram. A brush designed to remove a large amount of snow from a vehicle, on the other hand, should be much more durable.
They only required a photo of the damaged item before sending me a replacement. After my first one broke during the first use, I wasn't going to spend another $26 on a replacement. Hopefully, this ice picker will last longer and not break as easily as the previous one did. The ability of the brush and squeegee to retract and open to a T is fantastic. br>br>1st Reception 1/21/19: br>Okay, so I bought this on November 25th, 2018. They sent me the wrong one, so I contacted their customer service, who was able to send me the correct one after verifying the model number on the original packaging. They were extremely helpful and prompt in their response, and they did not request the incorrect one be returned. I gave it to my roommate, who was extremely grateful. br>Winter Storm Harper passed through the Northeast on January 20th, 2019 (Boston), and I got to use my Snow Moover for the first time! The squeegee and the double-sided brush are both excellent! However, when the temperature dropped below zero last night (flash freeze), my car was covered in an inch of snow and a layer of ice. I had a good 5 minutes with the ice scraper before it broke off while removing ice from my back windshield! I'm so disappointed because I adore this product! I'm going to contact customer service again to see if they can send me a replacement, which I'm hoping they can because the Snow Brush was quite expensive. If they comply with my request or show sympathy, I'll update my review.
I bought it for my wife, who has about as much patience as she does height! )br>Last year, I bought her a swivel-head compact brush/scraper. The brush width and reach were not to her liking. br>br>I purchased this extra wide and extendable brush/scraper to address the issues she had with the brush/scraper from the previous year. br>br>Of course, we haven't even gotten a trace of snow this year. Last year at this time, we had over 3' of snow! br>Fluffy powder snow should be relatively easy to transport. As is customary in heavy, wet snow, more dexterity is required. br>br>As a retired machinist, I examined this extendable brush/scraper and examined its various configurations. br>I'm impressed by the sturdiness of the construction, and I believe it will last for several seasons if not abused.
What should I start with? The brush's bristles are softer than an alpaca's pelt, but they're tough enough to withstand the jagged ice of a Midwest winter. The brush head effectively pushes or pulls snow from any surface you want to clear. Every flake will dance away from your windshield as if the Snow MOOver is choreographing a delicate ballet with you as the director, imposing your will on nature. To be sure, all but the most tenacious pack ice will be swept away with ease. br>br>What the bristles can't handle, the ice scraper integrated into the handle will. It's both sharp and dull, ensuring a safe ice scraping experience for you and whatever else has been engulfed by Elsa's fury. Thanks to the Snow MOOver, you, too, may exclaim, "Let it go!" It is going to be released. br>br>With the Snow MOOver, nothing is out of reach. The telescoping handle allows you to reach the windshield of even the most ridiculously oversized vehicle. No Dodge, Chevy, or Buick is too tall for this Mjölnir of a tool's incredible 46-inch reach. Nothing is beyond the Snow MOOver's grasp, just like nothing is beyond God's reach. I've heard they're used by NASA to clear dust from solar panels in space, and I believe it. Everything I read in the 7/11 bathroom on the wall is true.
