Questions & Answers

Do you think you can use this ladder with all 52 Is it not just with the thin walled Intex ?

This ladder served as a ladder for our regular 52" pool for more than two years. The top rail was able to fit between the steps with plenty of room.

The height of the bed can be adjusted, right?

No, the height of your pool cannot be adjusted. You need to measure your pool and get a pool that is right for it. That should be helpful!

A ladder can be used with a pool that is 48" high?

The answer is yes

When the platform is positioned on top of the ground, how far is it from the ?

Despite the fact that mine was 52" from the platform to the ground, It would be too tall for a pool of that type manufactured by Intex. As a result, it was not stable for the height, and the platform caused a trip hazard. The platform made it difficult to get into the pool safely.

Selected User Reviews For Intex - 52" Pool Ladder

It is not sturdy, the platform shakes when climbed, and it is a trip hazard
3/5

It is not recommended. In light of the fact that this ladder is high, it isn't sturdy enough, and it doesn't feel safe either. If you step on it or over it to get in and out of the pool, the platform may cause you to trip. As others have noted, even though the ladder had been assembled and tightened properly, it still wobbles and shakes when climbing. My opinion is that it feels much safer using the shorter ladder from Intex that came with the pool. There are a number of reasons why I wouldn't.

This is wobbly
3/5

I don't think it will bother me, but my wife will. After four years, the intex ladder split along the seam, which is not a big deal to me. The original was lost, so I bought this to replace it. My wife doesn't like ladders and has a hard time climbing them, so I thought this one would be easier for her since it has a platform at the top. It's going to be a disaster for her. The original version is more shaky than this one. My 220 pounds increase the wobbling of the chair. I'm sure it will hold up for a 70 pound child, but I'm sure it will hold up for a 70 pound child.

This ladder is tall, sturdy, and great for the pool
5/5

It is very easy to assemble. It was higher than I expected, which I found to be a pleasant surprise. A pool walker can straddle the side of a pool, eliminating the risk of structural damage brought on by entering/exiting In order to prevent rips and tears, I bought a pool pad that sits at the bottom inside. A nice spacing between the steps adds to the safety when using the product. I feel very solid when I am on top of my ladder, there is no wobbling. I like that the top of the tower has a little platform for relaxing on. Despite the little ladder's small size, I am very pleased with it. It would be a pleasure for me to recommend it.

Is good at what it does
5/5

A simple assembly process is required. This is a heavy weight in the family, and it's in constant use. A repeat performance would be great.

Just slightly better than the one that came with my 52x26 pool from Intex
5/5

Our 52 in. by 26 ft. untraframe pool came with the same filters as this one. Women with normal hip sizes will still not be able to sit on ladders due to their size. The pool is less shaky than the beach, but it's still a little scary to jump into and out of. About 30 minutes were needed for my husband to assemble the table. This ladder appears to be a decent value for the money we paid. As a result, if your original ladder is rusting this will be an affordable, but slightly more desirable replacement.

The ladder pictured is not the one used
3/5

There are still pieces missing. There was a mistake with the ladder that I received. To make it easier for my 3 year old to get into and out of the pool, I ordered the one pictured for the platform at the top. I did not receive a platform with the one I received. Several pieces had been broken off and taped back together, and the box appeared to have been opened and taped previously. No cross braces were in the box at the top. It is very disappointing.

The ladder looks like the OEM version
5/5

I think this ladder is as good or better than the ladder that came with our 48" above ground pool, and it would fit a 52" pool with no problem. This product is very easy to assemble. Above ground pool owners should note that I have owned this pool for 10 years, as well as smaller Intex pools. I have purchased 10 new Intex pumps, these have been broken after 10 years. I finally purchased a $200 - $300 pump from another manufacturer. Since I bought this 1 1/2 HP REAL pump, it has been perfectly working and quiet for my entire life! Put an end to buying those plastic Intex pumps for $80.
